Job Responsibilities

•Design and maintain Azure DevOps organizations, projects, repositories, pipelines, service connections, security, permissions, and access controls.

•Establish DevOps governance, best practices, branching, merging, and release management strategies across multiple teams.

•Build and maintain YAML-based Azure DevOps pipelines to automate build, test, deployment, and release processes.

•Implement deployment approvals, gates, environment-based releases, and automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.

•Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.

•Automate Azure resource provisioning and configuration management.

•Deploy and manage Azure services including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault.

•Support Azure migration and modernization initiatives.

•Build and manage Docker containers, operate workloads on AKS, and implement container registry and image management practices.

•Configure monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Azure Alerts.

•Troubleshoot deployment and production issues to improve platform reliability.

•Implement DevSecOps practices, integrate security scanning tools, manage secrets using Azure Key Vault, and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

Mandatory Skills

•Azure: Azure Administration, Azure Networking, Azure Identity & Access Management, Azure Monitoring, Azure Security, and Azure Governance.

•Azure DevOps: Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts, Azure Test Plans, and YAML Pipelines.

•Infrastructure as Code: Terraform preferred, Bicep, and ARM Templates.

•Source Control: Git, GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development, and branching strategies.

•Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, and Python preferred.

•Containers: Docker, AKS, and Kubernetes fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

•DevSecOps: SonarQube, Snyk, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Checkmarx, and OWASP concepts.

•Monitoring: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana.

•Artifact Management: Azure Artifacts, Nexus, and JFrog Artifactory.

•Cloud Migration & Modernization: Azure Landing Zones, Azure Migrate, Application Modernization, and VM-to-PaaS transformation.
