The Mission

As the Product Manager UX Orchestration, you own the no-code configuration layer of the Actirise solution: the tools that let publishers activate ad formats, configure the video player, and set up the CMP/Paywall experience — without a single line of code. You are the guardian of a consistent, controlled self-serve experience across every surface: back-office, client-facing UI, native platform, and WordPress plugin alike.

Your mission: make configuration effortless for publishers while keeping Actirise in control of what's truly self-serve versus internally managed — turning orchestration into a growth lever, not an operational bottleneck.

Your key responsibilities:

1. No-Code Configuration Strategy

  • Define which configuration flows are self-serve vs. internally-managed, and design the framework that governs that boundary.
  • Own the roadmap for the tagging plan (ad format activation), enabling publishers to activate and manage formats without dev intervention.
  • Continuously simplify configuration paths — remove friction, reduce support tickets, increase adoption of self-serve tools.

2. Player & Video Catalog Configuration

  • Own the player template configuration experience: enable publishers to customize player behavior and appearance without engineering support.
  • Design and evolve the video catalog management tools (upload, organization, metadata) to keep the catalog scalable and easy to maintain.

3. CMP / Paywall Template Configuration

  • Own the CMP/Paywall template configuration layer to deliver an easy configuration experience that respects both constraints.
  • Ensure publishers can configure consent/paywall templates consistently, regardless of the surface they use.

4. Cross-Surface Consistency

  • Guarantee that the configuration experience is coherent whether accessed via back-office, client-facing platform, or the WordPress plugin.
  • Ensure design system application to keep configuration UI patterns consistent across surfaces.
  • Define and maintain clean data contracts and ACLs for every configuration action.

5. Agentic Exposure

  • Apply an agentic-first principle to every configuration capability: whatever a publisher or an internal user can do through the UI must also be executable by an AI agent not just clickable in a screen.
  • Continuously audit existing configuration flows to close the human/agent parity gap ("can an agent already do what a human can do here?") and prioritize closing the biggest gaps.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Sparteo Account squad to ensure configuration is part of a smooth time-to-activation journey.
  • Coordinate with PM Engagement on shared UI/UX and compliance boundaries.
  • Partner with Tech/Engineering to ship configuration tools that are reliable, fast, and scalable.

The Profile We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is obsessed with simplicity and control at the same time — who believes a great configuration tool should feel invisible to the person using it.

  • PM Expertise: 3+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally on self-serve platforms, admin/back-office tools, or no-code/configuration products.
  • UX Sensibility: Strong instinct for simplifying complex configuration flows into intuitive, guided experiences. Comfortable partnering with design systems.
  • Technical Literacy: Understanding of API-first design, WordPress plugin environments. You don't need to code, but you need to speak engineering's language.
  • Systems Thinker: Able to design frameworks (self-serve vs. managed) rather than one-off features — you think in guardrails, permissions, and consistency across surfaces.
  • Cross-Functional Operator: Comfortable working at the intersection of multiple squads where boundaries require coordination, not competition.
  • Agentic Mindset: Naturally designs every capability with a dual interface in mind — human UI and agent-executable action. Understands agent tool-calling patterns and can define clean, well-scoped tool interfaces rather than exposing raw UI logic.
  • AdTech / Video Culture: Familiarity with ad format activation, video players, or CMP/consent tooling is a strong plus.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills — you can align Tech, Design, and client-facing teams around a shared configuration vision.
  • A strategic thinker with an 'AI-native' reflex, you excel at deconstructing business complexity into flawless operational blueprints. You don't just use AI; you design the structured documentation and logic flows that allow intelligent systems to execute our vision with precision

Your mind set to share our adventure

  • 🚀 You want to make an impact and move things forward collectively. Does hearing phrases like "Yes, but we've been doing it this way for years..." make your hair stand on end? We feel the same way: progress is made by questioning what already exists.
  • 🧠 You solve problems pragmatically and analytically.
  • 🏃‍♂️ You're looking for a fast-moving environment where your agility will be an asset. The 80-20 (Pareto) principle holds no secrets for you.
  • 🎧 Your ability to listen encourages you to challenge and improve yourself on an ongoing basis.
