JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
This role serves as a force multiplier for the Product & Payments organization, enabling disciplined execution of enterprise priorities across product, payments and digital strategy.
This role operates as a central integrator across business lines, strategy, execution, governance, and communication, ensuring that priorities established by the Head of Product & Payments Strategy are translated into coordinated, measurable, and risk-aligned outcomes.
This role partners closely with leaders across lines of business, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and Client Experience to drive execution of the product and payments strategy roadmap, governance and adherence to the New Products & Services Policy, enterprise go-to-market readiness, cross-functional alignment, and performance reporting.

Strategic Execution & Operating Rhythm
- Translate strategic priorities into clear execution roadmaps, milestones, and accountability structures.
- Assist in establishing and managing the operating cadence, including business line leadership meetings, initiative reviews, and updates.
- Track progress across strategic initiatives and escalate risks, interdependencies, or blockers.
- Ensure alignment between enterprise strategy and product-level execution plans.
Enterprise Go-to-Market Enablement
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and line of business leaders to support consistent execution of the enterprise go-to-market framework.
- Coordinate launch readiness governance, including readiness checklists, approvals, training, sales enablement, and channel alignment.
- Facilitate post-launch reviews and performance tracking against defined success metrics.
- Ensure launches meet brand, compliance, and regulatory expectations.
Product Management, Governance & Policy Adherence
- Serve as a central coordinator for adherence to the New Products & Services Policy, Technology and related Enterprise Change Management Program.
- Serve as SME for key Products (e.g. Debit, Credit, Deposit, etc.) ensuring efficient and effective execution of any related projects, growth and development initiatives
- Ensure product initiatives include proper documentation, risk and compliance review, and defined approval pathways.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Technology to support enterprise governance standards.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support regulatory inquiries, internal audit, and exam preparation.
Cross-Functional Program Leadership
- Lead and coordinate high-priority cross-functional initiatives, including product launches, enhancements, payments strategy initiatives, customer journey transformation, and digital channel improvements.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders and ensure accountability across business units.
- Act as an escalation point for interdependencies and conflicting priorities.
Customer Journey & Digital Alignment
- Partner with business lines, Client Experience, and Analytics teams to prioritize and execute customer journey improvements.
- Support coordination of digital initiatives across mobile, online banking, email, SMS, and in-product messaging.
- Ensure initiatives align with customer-centric design standards, segmentation, personalization, accessibility, and compliance expectations.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards across product performance, payments portfolio growth, digital adoption, go-to-market outcomes, and revenue impact.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the Head of Product & Payments Strategy.
- Prepare communications and materials for leadership updates, strategic planning sessions, and Board-level reporting as appropriate.
Communication & Stakeholder Alignment
- Serve as a liaison between the Head of Product & Payments Strategy and internal stakeholders.
- Draft communications, presentations, decision memos, status reports, and strategic briefings.
- Ensure consistent messaging across programs and alignment with enterprise priorities.
Change Management & Customer Impact Coordination
- Support disciplined execution of customer-impacting changes across products, pricing, features, digital channels, and servicing processes.
- Partner with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Client Experience, and Technology to assess customer impact and coordinate rollout sequencing.
- Monitor post-implementation results and escalate customer, operational, or risk issues proactively.
Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
- Lead or support enterprise-critical initiatives as delegated by the Head of Product & Payments Strategy.
- Conduct analysis on market trends, competitive positioning, product strategy, pricing opportunities, and payments innovation.
- Support annual planning, roadmap development, prioritization, and resource alignment.

Work Environment
This job operates in an office setting, the opportunity to telework is not available. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.
Physical Demands
This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
Travel
Limited local travel may be required for this position.
For Applicants located in Northern Viriginia (VA): The pay range for this position is $100,000 to $180,000 Annually.
The ranges listed for Viriginia and/or Maryland represent the good-faith compensation the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonuses or incentive pay, where applicable.
Education and Experience
- 7–12+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, product strategy, payments, digital banking, strategy execution, or transformation.
- Experience supporting senior executives or operating in a strategic program management, business management, or transformation role.
- Strong familiarity with product management lifecycles, payments, go-to-market execution, customer journey mapping, and regulated financial services environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, Operations, or related field required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
