Overview

Role Purpose:

Own quality engineering for the enterprise Document Management System, with emphasis on SharePoint Online, document lifecycle workflows, metadata, search, permissions and integrations.

How you'll make an impact

Key responsibilities

  • Establish a DMS test strategy and stable regression pack for core document journeys.
  • Strengthen validation of permissions, metadata, retention-related configuration and integrations.
  • Create repeatable smoke and regression candidates for ACCELQ automation.
  • Provide release-readiness and defect-risk reporting for the DMS platform.
  • Lead test planning and execution for SharePoint/DMS releases and enhancements.
  • Validate document upload, versioning, check-in/check-out, metadata, search and retrieval.
  • Test site/library configuration, content types, permissions and role-based access.
  • Validate Power Automate workflows and integrations with upstream/downstream applications.
  • Coordinate functional, integration, regression, exploratory and UAT support.
  • Own defect triage, regression scope and release quality evidence.
  • Partner with platform engineers and records/compliance stakeholders on test scenarios.

About you

Required experience and skills

  • 4-6 years in QA/QE with lead-level ownership.
  • Hands-on SharePoint Online testing experience, including libraries, metadata, content types, permissions and search.
  • Experience testing document-management workflows and enterprise integrations.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 identity/permissions concepts and role-based access testing.
  • Experience with API/integration testing and Azure DevOps or comparable tooling.
  • Strong test strategy, defect management and release-readiness skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Power Automate and Microsoft Graph testing exposure.
  • Experience with records-management, retention, audit or regulated document processes.
  • ACCELQ, Selenium or Playwright automation exposure.
  • Insurance or financial-services experience
