Job Summary
The Technical and Engineering Manager is responsible for all engineering/technical aspects of the Company's operations, inclusive of value engineering opportunities, construction and overall methodology, method statements, engineering design drawings, shop drawings and material submittals and follow up approval.
Job Responsibilities 1
Lead the design team in creating innovative, high-quality engineering solutions.
Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Provide expert technical guidance and support to design and engineering teams.
Develop and enforce design standards, procedures, and best practices.
Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure all designs meet industry standards and client requirements.
Allocate resources effectively to support design and technical projects.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure cohesive project execution.
Drive innovation in design methodologies and technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with design and technical projects.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the design and technical teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Job Knowledge & Skills
Advanced Knowledge in engineering principles, techniques, policies, and procedures.
Excellent knowledge of material engineering properties and local/global availability of materials with excellent technical skills and ability to organize and oversee preparation of technical drawings.
Knowledge of Project Management.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
