Job description
As QA Inspector (UV Inspection & Packaging) at NTS Singapore you will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting and packing precision parts according to customer specifications and approved work instructions. You will perform detailed visual and UV inspections to identify particles, contamination, stains, scratches and other cleanliness or quality issues. Careful handling of contamination-sensitive parts is essential to ensure that products meet the required cleanliness and visual acceptance criteria. You will work in a controlled environment while following applicable cleanroom, ESD, safety and quality requirements.
Furthermore, your duties are:
- Clean and prepare parts according to customer specifications and approved work instructions, using specified cleaning materials, PPE and approved tools
- Perform visual and UV inspections to identify particles, contamination, stains, scratches, marks and other cleanliness or quality issues
- Handle precision and contamination-sensitive parts carefully to prevent scratches, fingerprints, contamination or other damage
- Pack parts according to approved customer packing methods and requirements, ensuring the correct quantity, part number, serial number, labels and packing condition
- Maintain proper cleanroom and controlled-area practices, including cleanliness of the work area, tools and packing materials
- Accurately record inspection and packing results to ensure product traceability
- Report non-conformances, damage, contamination and abnormal conditions promptly to QC or the supervisor, while following all applicable safety, quality, ESD and customer requirements
Job requirements
- Minimum secondary education; experience in QA/QC, cleanroom operations, inspection, cleaning or packing is an advantage
- Experience handling precision or contamination-sensitive parts is an advantage
- Able to perform detailed visual and UV inspections and identify contamination, particles, stains, scratches and other defects
- Able to follow customer specifications, work instructions, cleanliness criteria, packing methods and cleanroom/ESD requirements
- Detail-oriented and accurate when verifying part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, labels, inspection records and packing conditions
- Responsible, disciplined and quality-conscious, with the ability to report non-conformances or abnormalities promptly
