You will be doing:

  • Design, develop and maintain automated tests (UI and API) for web and mobile applications using Python, pytest and Playwright
  • Build and automate API tests with requests when needed
  • Integrate and maintain automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
  • Perform functional and non-functional, integration, regression and usability testing (manual testing as a supporting activity  with automation as the core focus)
  • Identify, record and report bugs to the development team, and verify bug fixes
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test cases and testing documentation (test suites, test cases, checklists, testing instructions, etc.)
  • Analyze and document product features and business requirements
  • Refine and improve the testing and test automation process
  • Cooperate closely with the Dev, QA Lead and team members to clarify system requirements
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Your expertise to meet the requirement:

  • 3+ years of experience in test automation for web and mobile applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and pytest
  • Solid experience with Playwright for UI automation
  • Experience in API testing automation (e.g. requests)
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines - GitHub Actions or equivalent
  • Experience in manual testing of mobile and web applications
  • Experience in creating and maintaining testing documentation
  • Hands-on experience with Git
  • Profound knowledge and understanding of the SDLC
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
  • Proficient in Russian and intermediate in English

Nice to have: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
