Workload: 80–100%

Shape the future of Axpo’s SAP ecosystem as a strategic technical and operational leader. This high-impact role combines deep technical expertise with exceptional project management skills, focusing equally on transformational projects and operational excellence.

What you will do:

  • Own the infrastructure topics for SAP RISE-managed and internally-hosted SAP systems.
  • Act as the central technical contact for network and cloud connectivity, including SAP satellite systems, firewall management, certificate administration, and DNS configuration.
  • Lead cross-functional infrastructure projects (e.g., migrations, integrations, system upgrades, cloud transitions).
  • Manage incidents, monitor system health, and ensure security and performance across SAP infrastructure layers.
  • Collaborate with the SAP Basis team to design and deliver infrastructure solutions.
  • Build effective relationships with Network, Cloud, Security, Identity, and Workplace teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Drive automation initiatives and operational efficiency improvements.

What you bring & who you are:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or technical project management.
  • Expertise in managing on-premises and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure or equivalent hyperscalers).
  • Strong understanding of SAP systems operations, including SAP RISE and Basis administration.
  • Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure automation (e.g., PowerShell, shell scripting).
  • Experience with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and managing infrastructure in regulated industries.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Valid Swiss PSP certification or willingness to obtain.
