Project Manager

Location: 3215 Fern Valley Rd., Ste. 105  Louisville, KY  40213 Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Assistant Operations Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee remodeling and exterior construction projects, including decks, patios, roofing, siding, gutters, and windows. The ideal candidate will manage projects from contract to completion, ensuring work is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards while delivering an excellent homeowner experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight

  • Plan, schedule, and manage all phases of exterior remodeling projects.
  • Conduct jobsite visits to inspect quality, progress, and compliance with building codes.
  • Coordinate permitting and inspections with local municipalities.

• Team & Subcontractor Management

  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews to ensure work meets scope and specifications.
  • Review and approve subcontractor bids, scopes, and change orders.
  • Ensure subcontractors maintain proper insurance, licensing, and safety compliance.

• Budget & Schedule Control

  • Create and track project budgets, purchase orders, and material orders.
  • Monitor project timelines and proactively resolve issues causing delays.
  • Identify and submit change orders for homeowner approval when scope adjustments occur.

• Client Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project.
  • Provide regular progress updates, manage expectations, and resolve concerns quickly.
  • Ensure a professional and positive customer experience from start to finish.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience in exterior construction/remodeling (decks, roofing, siding, windows, gutters preferred).
  • Strong understanding of residential building codes, permitting processes, and construction methods.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining budgets and schedules.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software (BuilderTrend or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
