Position Summary

MediDrive is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Business Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and continuous improvement of our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) products and processes.

The Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between Operations, Product Owners, Engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure product enhancements deliver measurable business value. This role is responsible for gathering and documenting business and product requirements, analyzing workflows, identifying process improvements, supporting product delivery, and ensuring solutions meet customer and operational needs.

Working closely with the Product Director, Product Owners, fellow Business Analysts, Operations, Engineering, and Quality Assurance, this role helps define product requirements, prioritize enhancements, improve business processes, and support the successful delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions across MediDrive's product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

  • Partner with Product Owners, the Product Director, Operations, and business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into detailed product and business requirements.
  • Elicit requirements through interviews, workshops, observation, process analysis, and data review.
  • Create and maintain:• Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)

  • Analyze business processes, system capabilities, and user needs to recommend effective product solutions.
  • Ensure requirements are complete, testable, traceable, and aligned with business objectives and product priorities.

Product Support

  • Support the ongoing development and enhancement of MediDrive's NEMT Claims platform.
  • Contribute to additional products across the MediDrive portfolio, including the various MediDrive Portals, provider management, member experience, reporting, operational workflows, integrations, and future product initiatives.
  • Assist Product Owners with backlog refinement, user story development, feature prioritization, release planning, and sprint readiness.
  • Support the Product Director in evaluating product opportunities, strategic initiatives, roadmap planning, and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with fellow Business Analysts to ensure consistency in documentation, analysis, and delivery practices.
  • Participate in product discovery sessions, solution design discussions, and feature validation with business and technical stakeholders.

Process Improvement

  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, compliance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes and workflows.
  • Recommend process improvements supported by operational data and business analysis.
  • Partner closely with Operations to optimize NEMT claims processing and related operational workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and streamline end-to-end business processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate meetings to gather requirements, clarify business needs, resolve questions, and build stakeholder alignment.

  • Assist Quality Assurance by clarifying requirements and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate completed functionality against documented requirements and acceptance criteria before release.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze operational, product, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Measure and validate business outcomes following product releases.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analyses that support product and operational decision-making.
  • Use data-driven insights to recommend product enhancements and operational improvements.

Quality & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate product, business, and process documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure documentation reflects evolving business requirements and product functionality.
  • Support release readiness activities, training documentation, and change management initiatives.
  • Promote documentation standards, best practices, and continuous improvement across the Business Analyst team.

Required Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of Business Analyst experience supporting software products, enterprise applications, or healthcare technology solutions.
  • Experience working within software development environments.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, requirements elicitation, and process improvement.
  • Experience creating Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), user stories, workflows, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare technology, healthcare operations, managed care, or healthcare administration.
  • Experience supporting claims processing or claims management systems.
  • Knowledge of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) operations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement, claims adjudication, eligibility, provider management, or transportation operations.
  • Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and enterprise application workflows.
  • Experience supporting SaaS-based software platforms.
