ABOUT THE ROLE

Employment Status:

Permanent Part Time

Salary Range:

$68,080 - $74,000 (prorated to 0.6 FTE)

Location:

402 Bloomington Road, Aurora, ON. This position will require travel within York Region.

Hours of Work:

3 days/week for a total of 21 hrs/week. Flexible to choose between Mon-Thurs, Friday is mandatory.

POSITION

In collaboration with the Manager HR, the HRIS and Data Management Analyst works within the ADP Workforce Now (HRIS), keeping functionality current and ensuring the employee experience is positive. In addition, they will produce reports, manage data input and output in the system, provide staff training and have responsibility for tracking the change activity for the employee base within the ADP system. This position will uphold the Agency’s mission, vision and values and build collaborative relationships across the system, including championing the development of an organization that values an inclusive culture where all staff can leverage their strengths.

A LOOK AT YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

HRIS and Data Management Analyst

  • Takes ownership of the HRIS to ensure the employee experience is strong and the system is configured effectively to support the agency needs.
  • Administers all needed changes within ADP.
  • Reconciles employee entitlements, at the end of the employee’s lifecycle, and communicates to the Finance team for payroll processing or recovery.
  • In collaboration with the Manager of Human Resources, provides support to achieve compliance with licensing requirements and accreditation standards, regularly conducting employee file audits and ensuring all relevant memberships, licenses, background checks and certification are up to date.
  • Prepares employment letters.
  • Recommends enhancements and changes to the HRIS system and processes to increase efficiency and user experience.
  • Ensures data integrity and accurate information in the HRIS system such as employee status, employee contact, professional certifications and licensing, policies, training, forms, hours of work and the organization chart.
  • Educates all staff on the use of the HRIS system, including providing system updates.
  • Creates regular and ad-hoc reports to support the management team on HR matters impacting staff and the Agency. Analyzes reports and outlines any challenges and suggests solutions.
  • Performs work in a safe manner and adheres to the established health and safety measures of the organization.
  • Models inclusive behaviour and communicates the importance of equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the organization.
  • Attends and participates in required training and meetings
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Completion of a related post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or other related fields.
  • 2 years' experience working within an HR department and in a position dedicated to supporting an HRIS (input and output), preferably ADP Workforce Now.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal skills, including editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Superior attention to detail and the ability to handle many differing priorities
  • Exhibits initiative, critical thinking, professional judgement, innovation, and solution focused problem-solving skills.
  • Strong functional technological skills (e.g., Office 365, MS Office, SharePoint, One Drive, software applications).
  • Awareness and appreciation for the dynamics of equity issues (diversity, equity and inclusion) especially as it relates to gender, ethnicity, race, and economic status.
  • Identification with the strategic mission, vision and values of the organization including inclusion, collaboration, people centred, knowledgeable and courageous.
  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check required.
