Position Summary: We are seeking a highly self-motivated Senior ERP & Supply Chain Solutions Architect to lead the design, optimization, and evolution of enterprise systems supporting Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, Planning, and Finance. This role will serve as a critical bridge between business operations and technology, helping define scalable solutions that improve planning, execution, integration, and decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines deep ERP and supply chain functional expertise with strong solution architecture, business process design, and leadership capabilities. This individual will bring informed recommendations, operate effectively with minimal supervision, and guide strategic initiatives from concept through implementation while maximizing standard platform capabilities before recommending customization.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Applications Strategy

  • Serve as the primary technology architect and trusted advisor for Supply Chain and Operations.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise application roadmaps that support growth, operational excellence, and transformation.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and IT leaders to align technology capabilities with business priorities.
  • Assess the current application landscape and recommend practical future-state architecture.

ERP & Solution Architecture

  • Lead ERP design and optimization across planning, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
  • Maximize standard ERP and planning-platform capabilities and industry best practices before recommending customization.
  • Define solution architecture, integration patterns, data flows, nonfunctional requirements, and technical guardrails.
  • Provide architectural leadership for implementations, upgrades, enhancements, vendor evaluations, and solution selection.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, supportable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with the enterprise roadmap.

Supply Chain Process & Solution Design

  • Facilitate current-state and future-state process design workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Design capabilities across S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, MRP/MPS, inventory, procurement, production scheduling, warehouse operations, and transportation management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, inventory performance, operational efficiency, and customer service.
  • Recommend proven practices and challenge legacy processes when more effective alternatives are available.

Data Integration, Analytics & Innovation

  • Partner with Data and BI teams to define trusted data models, reporting requirements, integration strategies, and operational metrics.
  • Guide source-to-target logic, table selection, joins, data validation, and data quality controls across ERP, planning, and reporting platforms.
  • Identify practical opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, automation, and advanced analytics to operational processes.
  • Lead targeted proof-of-concept initiatives and help translate successful pilots into scalable enterprise capabilities.

Solution Governance & Transformation Delivery

  • Establish architecture standards and decision criteria for supply chain and enterprise application technologies.
  • Lead design reviews and ensure consistency across systems, integrations, vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Manage architecture risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and technical debt while maintaining delivery momentum.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in ERP, enterprise applications, business systems architecture, or solution architecture.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Logistics operations.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand and supply planning, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise business systems and cross-functional process improvements.
  • Ability to translate business strategy and operational requirements into scalable process and technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter, establish priorities, and drive complex initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to influence effectively across business, technology, vendor, and implementation-partner teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, NetSuite, or a comparable ERP platform.
  • Experience with MRP, APS, WMS, TMS, demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and production scheduling.
  • Experience with planning platforms such as Pigment, Anaplan, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Oracle Planning, or similar solutions.
  • Knowledge of APIs, middleware, integration platforms, master data, data governance, data warehousing, and enterprise reporting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Azure data services, and AI-enabled business solutions.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or private-equity-backed environments.
  • Relevant ERP, supply chain, architecture, or project-delivery certifications.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands and fingers; talk and/or hear. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
