Position Summary

The Warehouse Systems Analyst serves as the inter-company expert for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and technical processes. The Warehouse Systems Analyst will collaborate extensively with internal operations and administrative teams, as well as internal IT and product development teams, to ensure the achievement of sustained systemic efficiencies throughout the Distribution Services organization.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Act as a liaison between the operations team and the WMS elements with which the team operates, serve as a subject matter expert and continuous improvement champion
  • Hone and leverage an exemplary understanding of existing WMS systems and processes
  • Build meaningful relationships with WMS and other systems partners, driving improvement projects and regular communication to ensure that system potential is maximized
  • Assist in the exploration of new technology and capabilities, partner with leadership from multiple departments in the recommendation/selection/implementation of technology enhancements
  • Oversee and report on systems uptime and effectiveness across multiple campus sites
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Three + years of technical experience with multiple Warehouse Management Systems, experience in the 3PL industry strongly preferred
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, project management, and problem resolution skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Positive, team-first attitude and strong work ethic

Physical Demands

  • Regularly traverses an active industrial warehouse facility (concrete floors, automated systems) to troubleshoot system hardware and audit picking/put-away workflows.
  • Spends 50–60% of the day in a stationary office setting utilizing computers and advanced software platforms.
  • Occasionally bends, stoops, kneels, or reaches to inspect mounted technology, conveyor sensors, or lower-level inventory racking.
  • Must possess the visual acuity to analyze data patterns on screens, inspect barcodes, and safely navigate around moving warehouse vehicles.
  • Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills are required to configure, repair, or operate handheld technology and warehouse hardware.
