Position Summary

The Salesforce Process Implementation Specialist plays a vital role at Omnicare by continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform. This initiative-taking, business-facing role gathers requirements and feedback, designs scalable solutions aligned with best practices, and supports delivery of initiatives on the product roadmap. Because the Salesforce user experience is a priority, this person will also support user management, resolve support tickets, deliver training, and design solutions that improve user satisfaction.

The ideal candidate can translate business requirements into technical documentation, assist with feature deployments, and coordinate implementation activities. This position has a strategic focus on increasing user adoption while maintaining Salesforce best practices. Success requires the ability to communicate Salesforce technical concepts clearly and effectively to business stakeholders and end users.

Primary Responsibilities

  • User Support, Adoption & Communication• Communicate platform changes and project updates to end users and stakeholders.
  • Resolve support tickets and manage users and licenses, including account setup and deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, and sharing rules.
  • Plan and conduct user training sessions.
  • Export and analyze data to present accurate reports with a focus on end-user functionality in a variety of formats.
  • Platform Administration & Integrations• Maintain working knowledge of integrated applications, including Nintex DocGen for Salesforce, Highspot, Azure, Tableau, and others.
  • Configure and review Salesforce features, including picklists, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, page layouts, record types, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports with guidance.
  • Data Quality, Testing & Deployment• Improve Salesforce data quality through effective data management, Data Loader, validation rules, and automation.
  • Perform user acceptance testing in a sandbox environment and confirm functionality after deployment.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 1+ years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with (and a deep understanding of) Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel, including Index-Match functions, pivot tables, and charting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven problem-solving skills with experience analyzing data.
  • Trailhead Badges/Super Badges and/or additional Salesforce certifications.
  • A proactive attitude towards creating platform reporting.
  • Experience designing scalable, best practice solutions. 
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Technical documentation skills.
  • Willingness to enthusiastically handle questions from the field.
  • Constant curiosity and willingness to question the norm.
  • Master’s degree.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma or GED + 4 years of relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $102,081.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
