The Radio Frequency Semiconductor Business Unit is seeking an experienced RF Engineering Manager to lead the development and delivery of advanced RF and microwave products supporting aerospace, defense, communications, and emerging wireless applications. This role is responsible for driving technical excellence, developing engineering talent, and ensuring successful execution of product development programs from concept through production. The successful candidate will collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-performance RF solutions aligned with ADI’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of RF engineers supporting new product development, product sustainment, and technology innovation.
  • Drive execution of RF product development programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and product roadmaps.
  • Provide technical leadership in RF, microwave, mixed-signal, and system-level design reviews.
  • Manage engineering resources, project priorities, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
  • Partner with product line, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Guide resolution of complex technical challenges, customer escalations, and product performance issues.
  • Build organizational capability through talent development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration across global engineering and business teams.

Education & Experience

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in RF, microwave, aerospace, defense, communications, wireless, or semiconductor product development.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams, technical programs, or product development organizations.
  • Strong technical expertise in RF design, characterization, validation, and system-level performance analysis.
  • Experience with RF design simulation and AI tools is advantage.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex products from concept through production release.
  • Strong leadership, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with global cross-functional teams and customers is highly desirable.
