Summary

E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated Project Control Manager / Project Manager to be a full-time and fully remote employee in the DC area. to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team.

Job Description

This position is a combined requirement for a Project Control Manager (50%) and to also serve as Project Manager (50%) for a team supporting a federal customer.

As a Project Control Manager, candidates will help E-INFOSOL with accounting, finance, forecasting, and budgeting along with a proven ability to change with implementing new systems to enhance profitability and growth.

As a Project Manager, candidates must perform day-to-day management of contract support operations. Project Manager must demonstrate skills in the scope of work encompassed by the task order; provide technical guidance to the project contractor team in performance of the work, and review the quality of all work products. The Project Manager organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities. The candidate will be responsible for contractor staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for all project control functions including planning, tracking, analysis and reporting across the project life cycle. Projects may vary in size, complexity, and contract type (i.e. Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, Time & Material, etc.).
  • Interface with team members of the corporate staff to include: Executive staff, Directors, Program/Project Managers (PMs), Contracts, Billing, Finance, and Human Resources.
  • Assists in project setup, assigning the workforce, and adding new employees into Deltek CostPoint system.
  • Develop Estimates to Complete (ETCs) and Estimates at Completions (EACs). Works closely with PMs to review current project financial status and project future performance. Responsible for monitoring cost and schedule performance and performs related analyses.
  • Produce financial deliverables for both internal and external use. These can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Help develop and review procedures, process, and products to identify possible improvements to better support customer needs and reduce costs and errors.
  • Financial support includes funding analysis, monthly expenditure analysis, cost variance analyses, historical financials, track current task spending and commitments, burn rates and forecast future trends. Monitoring actual costs against budgets. Monitor and provide status on utilization and Bonus tracking.
  • Assist PMs with all purchase requests, validate subcontract invoices against purchase orders, and track all subcontract efforts including monthly reports. Enter subcontractor invoices into Costpoint.
  • Assist PMs with Risk Authorization Requests (RARs), modification requests, and limitation of funds notifications. Monitor and help manage at-risk and suspense related costs.
  • Provide contractor oversight/management and administrative and technical interaction with Government stakeholders to accomplish program objectives.
  • Defines project objectives and strategic direction.
  • Responsible for providing leadership and vision to client and project teams and serves as a key facilitator between multiple teams to achieve objectives of complex efforts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with little or no direct supervision with excellent time management skills.
  • Training and experience in various areas of information technology and program management.
  • Provide in-depth analysis with attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of the data.
  • Ability to coordinate with various divisions, offices, and customers at all levels.
  • The ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate capabilities and functionality of technologies deployed within the enterprise.
  • Ensure the contract is properly and adequately staffed with cleared and qualified personnel capable of performing all contract requirements.
  • Ensure all contract requirements are performed in a way that always maintains security integrity at all levels.
  • Ensure all contract deliverables are accurate and are delivered correctly and on time.
  • Ensure all required support services are efficiently and effectively managed at the designated places of performance.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are created and performed promptly and correctly, and work is performed on time and at the agreed prices.
  • Ensure all required documentation is captured and recorded in accordance with agency procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to go through a Public Trust investigation
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Business Finance or a related field of study.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience in project management activities or closely related experience including:• Critical Path and Schedule Risk Assessment analyses.
  • Relating software development metrics to technical achievement.
  • Cost estimating and reporting, risk and issue management, etc.
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, and SharePoint (user).
  • Work experience with Jira.
  • Experience translating and communicating complex subject matter between technical and non-technical audiences.
