About the Role:

The Senior Project Manager in the EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction)/ Electric Utilities industry plays a pivotal role in overseeing and driving complex infrastructure and operational projects from initiation through completion. This position ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while meeting stringent regulatory and safety standards. The role requires strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk management to optimize project outcomes and support the organization's long-term objectives. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to align project goals with business needs and community impact. Ultimately, this role is critical in advancing the utility services' reliability, efficiency, and sustainability through effective project leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent Substation PM experience
  • At least 7 years of project management experience within the utilities or energy sector.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and environmental standards specific to the utilities industry.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in utilities such as smart grids or renewable energy integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects with significant safety and environmental considerations.
