Position: Data Analyst

FT/PT Status: Full-Time

Location: Remote

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Overview:

Kreative Technologies is looking for a Data Analyst to collect, analyze and report on data that supports client programs. You will turn raw data into clear findings, reports and visuals that help leaders make decisions.

The ideal candidate is curious, accurate and good at explaining numbers in plain language. You should be comfortable working with large data sets and several data sources.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Extracts, cleans and validates data from databases and other sources.
  • Analyzes data to find trends, issues and opportunities.
  • Builds reports, dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
  • Writes SQL queries to support analysis and reporting.
  • Checks data quality and documents data definitions.
  • Presents findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Supports ad hoc data requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of data analysis experience.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Proficient with Excel and at least one reporting tool such as Power BI, Tableau or BusinessObjects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience supporting federal government contracts.

Compensation: $60,016 – $66,685 per year
