Full description

The Position

  • Project implementation: Assist in implementing and planning the development of Hong Kong Science Park, revamp and other capital works projects as assigned;
  • Project management: Manage various projects to ensure the projects are accomplished within the budget, the scheduled timeline and up to the required quality;
  • Tender documentation: Consolidate project requirement from various stakeholders in finalizing project briefs and coordinate with consultants to produce tender/construction documents,
  • Technical support: Provide technical support and expert advice on discipline-related issues to other members of the project team as well as in-house staff of other divisions;
  • Stakeholder liaison: Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders to understand their spatial needs for project delivery;
  • Procurement and reporting: Handle the procurement and construction process as well as prepare memo and reports for vetting for Management’s approval;
  • AI tools application: Utilize AI-based tools to generate images, documents, and presentations to support project communication and documentation.
  • Additional duties: Perform any other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

  • Academic background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Architectural Studies, Engineering, Surveying or related disciplines;
  • Work experience: Minimum 6 years’ relevant work experience in design and/or project management of various building types at different stages. Exposure to interior design, A&A works and institution projects;
  • Statutory knowledge: Familiarity with statutory requirement and procedures for development projects in Hong Kong;
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in graphics presentation toolsand software such as, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Acrobat Reader, Microsoft and design related computer application. Experience with AI-assisted tools for image and document generation is an advantage.
  • Personal attributes: Self-driven, independent, problem-solving mindset with strong interpersonal skills; and
  • Language proficiency: Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua.
