Job Requirements ABOUT THE ROLE:

RNGD is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making within the Accounting department. This position involves developing Power BI and Crystal reports, exploring and implementing data management solutions leveraging AI/ML, managing Accounting processes, and writing SQL queries to pull data from a Snowflake database.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Power BI and Crystal Reports: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI and Crystal reports and dashboards for stakeholders within the Accounting team. Collaborate with the CFO and Accounting Directors to understand reporting requirements and ensure the delivery of meaningful insights.
  • SQL Query Development: Create and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from the Snowflake database. Work closely with the Analytics team to streamline data extraction processes and improve efficiency.
  • Data Management Solutions: Explore and implement data management solutions leveraging AI/ML to enhance data collection, quality, governance, and overall data management practices.
  • Accounting Processes: Manage and optimize Accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data for audits and other financial reporting needs.
  • Technical Skills: Apply expertise in SQL, Python, and Jupyter Notebooks to extract and manipulate data effectively. Leverage Power BI, Crystal Reports, DAX, and Power Query for the creation of interactive and insightful reports.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Accounting team to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights. Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work Experience PREFERRED QUALIFICAIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science).
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on Power BI, SQL, and Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Well-rounded Accounting knowledge.
  • Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, SQL, Python, and Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with ERPs.
  • Previous work experience in the construction or related industry.

This is a fully in-person position based at our Metairie, LA campus. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
