POSITION SUMMARY

The QSF Project Manager is responsible for managing assigned Qualified Settlement Fund (QSF) projects from project initiation through final disbursement and closure. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned law firms and coordinates activities across internal departments to ensure accurate, timely, and successful delivery of services.

The Project Manager maintains oversight of project status, deliverables, risks, escalations, and client communications while ensuring adherence to client requirements, settlement agreements, and company procedures.

POSITION LOCATION: Onsite, Houston

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned law firms and settlement counsel.
  • Lead client meetings and ongoing project communications.
  • Provide project updates, reporting, and status information.
  • Manage client expectations and coordinate issue resolution.

Project Ownership

  • Manage assigned QSF projects from onboarding through closure.
  • Maintain ownership of project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and outstanding items.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks or obstacles.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with client requirements and service commitments.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate activities across departments supporting assigned projects.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders.
  • Manage dependencies and ensure timely completion of project activities.

Quality & Escalation Management

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of project-related information and deliverables.
  • Coordinate resolution of project issues and escalations.
  • Escalate matters requiring leadership involvement.

Payment & Disbursement Oversight

  • Coordinate payment-related activities associated with assigned projects.
  • Work with Accounting and operational teams to support timely processing of disbursements.
  • Monitor readiness and resolution of issues impacting payment activities

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required:

  • 3+ years of project management, operations, legal services, financial services, or related experience.
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
