About Walker Digital Table Systems (WDTS)

Walker Digital Table Systems (WDTS) builds the technology behind smarter casino table games. Our RFID-enabled chips, readers, and table systems give casino operators real-time visibility into table play, helping them protect revenue, improve the guest experience, and run their floors with confidence. Headquartered in Las Vegas, WDTS supports casino properties in the United States and in international gaming markets.

About the Role

As Product Manager for our Game Studio, you will manage the process of bringing casino innovations from concept to production. You will turn creative ideas into clear requirements for our engineering team in India, and guide each product through testing, regulatory certification, and manufacturing to launch. You will be part of the creative process to initiate and develop new and innovative concepts that will shape the future of table games and will use real performance data to keep improving future iterations of our products.

This role is right for someone who loves games and is equally comfortable with business cases, Agile delivery, and the details of getting a physical product built and approved.

What You’ll Do

Shape the product

  • Vet new table game concepts by building business cases, studying the market and competitors, recommending pricing, and testing ideas with players and casino operators.
  • Build the product roadmap with Game Studio leadership.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on business value and what operators need.

Take ideas from concept to manufacturing

  • Guide approved concepts through each stage gate, from feasibility and design freeze to certification, manufacturing release, and launch.
  • Give Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain complete product specifications, from software builds to table layouts and hardware components.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Field Service, and Compliance so every launch is ready to go.

Deliver with our India Development Center

  • Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for our engineering team in India.
  • Take part in sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives across time zones.
  • Track progress, manage dependencies, and clear blockers.

Craft great player experiences

  • Partner with designers and artists on gameplay and on player and dealer interfaces.
  • Review wireframes, prototypes, gameplay flows, and pay tables for quality and consistency.
  • Balance creative vision with technical feasibility, cost, and operational realities.

Test, certify, launch, and improve

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, gameplay validation, and defect resolution.
  • Prepare release notes and documentation and support submissions to regulators and independent test labs.
  • Track how products perform after launch and turn what you learn into the next set of improvements.

Represent our customers

  • Gather feedback from customers and internal teams to guide what will be built next.
  • Lead product demos, customer training, and represent WDTS at trade shows such as G2E.

You’ll also use generative AI tools every day to research, draft, and analyze faster.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or game production, including at least 4 years in a dedicated product management role.
  • A track record of taking interactive software or game products from concept to commercial release.
  • Hands-on experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methods as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore development teams across time zones.
  • A working knowledge of game design principles and player experience design.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, product management tools, and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
  • Proficiency with generative AI tools as part of your daily work.
  • Professional-level written and spoken English.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Game Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Las Vegas and travel 10–30% domestically and internationally (a valid passport or the ability to obtain one, and a valid driver’s license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required gaming license or registration, which includes a background investigation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in casino gaming or another regulated gaming environment, especially table games (proprietary table games, side bets, electronic table games).
  • Knowledge of casino operations and table management systems.
  • Experience with a stage-gate or new product development process that includes physical product, hardware, or manufacturing release.
  • Experience preparing documentation for regulatory or independent test lab submissions (for example, GLI or BMM).
  • Familiarity with game math, pay tables, and game-protection concerns.
  • Experience working with an India-based or other offshore development center.
  • Product management certification such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe POPM, or Pragmatic Institute.

Skills That Will Help You Succeed

  • Writing requirements and user stories that engineers can build without guesswork.
  • Making confident go / no-go calls using data, customer feedback, and cost.
  • Turning creative concepts into buildable specifications for software, hardware, and table layouts.
  • Understanding game math basics such as house edge, pay tables, and hit frequency.
  • Building strong working relationships with teams in other countries and time zones.
  • Presenting clearly to executives, customers, and trade-show audiences.

Work Location & Schedule

  • This is a full-time, on-site role at our Las Vegas, Nevada Game Studio.
  • Expect to travel 10–30% of the time for customer meetings, trade shows, and team collaboration, including trips to our India Development Center.
  • Because our engineering team is in India, you’ll sometimes join early-morning or evening calls.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 – $140,000 per year. Your final pay depends on your job-related experience, skills, and qualifications. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Work at a desk or computer workstation for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds (for example, demo equipment, trade-show materials, table layouts).
  • Stand and walk for extended periods during trade shows, product demos, and visits to casino floors.
  • Travel 10–30% domestically and internationally, including air travel and occasional overnight or multi-day trips.
  • Work in a standard office and Game Studio environment, plus casino environments that may be noisy, brightly lit, and, in some jurisdictions, permit smoking.
  • Occasional early-morning or evening virtual meetings to work with the India Development Center.
