Operational Technology Control Systems Analyst

Work Location: Huntsville, Alabama – Remote work is not an option

Schedule: Full Time

IronMountain Solutions, LLC is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Control Systems Analyst to support the identification, assessment, and analysis of control systems (facility related control systems/industrial control systems) supporting critical infrastructure and mission-essential assets supporting Department of War operations. In this role, you will work closely with government stakeholders, engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and facility personnel to evaluate how systems, facilities, and infrastructure support mission execution and inventory system components.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use site maps, architecture documentation, site assessments, and production processes to prepare workflow process documents.
  • Analyze mission assessments to assist identification of key assets, critical infrastructure, and systems.
  • Perform on-site inventories (physical and logical), assessments, and validation audits.
  • Coordinate with on-site stakeholders to identify control systems and associated components.
  • Perform research and analysis at all levels of site and system products to include concept design, installation, inventory, operation, sustainment, and disposal.
  • Provide technical analysis of control systems for identification, assessment, and documentation of current and future systems.
  • Perform data entry into program baseline templates of data collected during on-site inventories.
  • Develop technical and operational views, reports, and summaries to provide leadership with a continuous, accurate, situational understanding and impact to mission and operational risk.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Required Experience

  • A STEM related Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience supporting OT Control Systems, industrial control systems, infrastructure assessment, or related environments.

  • High School Diploma with 12 years of experience supporting OT Control Systems, industrial control systems, infrastructure assessment, or related environments.
  • Active Secret security clearance or able to obtain secret security clearance
  • Working knowledge of Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS), SCADA, BAS, or related control environments.
  • Ability to identify system dependencies, infrastructure relationships, operational impacts, and technical risks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Experience conducting site assessments, physical and logical inventories, validation audits, and technical evaluations.
  • Experience analyzing and documenting OT, and control system architecture, workflows, and operational processes.
  • Control systems scanning experience.
  • Control Systems experience with at least one or more of the Control Systems listed below:
  • Niagara
  • Metasys
  • Trane
  • Johnson Controls
  • Closed-circuit television (CCTV)
  • Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
  • Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)
  • Programmable logic controller (PLC)
  • Lighting Control Systems.
  • Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) Control System
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
  • Environmental Monitoring Systems
  • Fire & Life Safety (FLS) Control Systems
  • Utility Control System (UCS)
  • Industrial Control System

Required Travel:

Ability to travel 15% in support of customer sites and assessment activities.

Clearance Requirements:

The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
