Job Summary We are seeking a detail-orientated and proactive Data Analyst to join our team. The Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate, complete and campaign-ready marketing and CRM data that supports effective audience targeting, segmentation and campaign execution. 

This hands-on role focuses on data enrichment, data quality, CRM hygiene and audience list preparation, ensuring Marketing and Sales teams can work from a trusted data foundation. Working closely with campaign and marketing operations stakeholders, the Analyst follows established governance standards, delivers high-quality enrichment outcomes and supports reliable, scalable marketing execution across global markets.

We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the Cape Town office. 

Key Responsibilities Data Enrichment & CRM Data Quality •    Execute day-to-day enrichment tasks across contact, lead, account and company records using approved tools, systems and research methods. •    Research and verify B2B contacts and account information using tools such as ZoomInfo, Cognism, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other approved resources. •    Validate, update and maintain accurate, complete and campaign-ready CRM data, including key firmographic and segmentation fields. •    Perform regular data hygiene tasks including deduplication activities, data validation and record maintenance in line with data governance standards.

Campaign Audience & Segmentation Support •    Build, maintain and quality-assure campaign audience lists and reusable segmentation assets based on marketing requirements. •    Translate campaign targeting requirements into clear list criteria. •    Pull and review audience lists before campaign launch, confirming record counts, suppression criteria and priority field accuracy. •    Identify and address any data gaps in campaign-ready data before list delivery. •    Document list logic, filters, assumptions and exceptions to support repeatability and consistency.

Quality Assurance, Reporting & Governance •    Conduct quality assurance checks on enriched records, imports, exports and campaign lists to ensure accuracy, completeness and suppression compliance. •    Track and report on data quality metrics, enrichment performance, and field completion rates. •    Participate in spot-checks and peer reviews to improve consistency across enrichment activities. •    Follow established data governance processes, support compliance-related data tasks such as opt-out handling and ensure that data handling practices protect sensitive information. •    Assist with the maintaining of data dictionaries, field definitions, and enrichment SOPs.

Tools, Process Improvement & Workflow Management •    Utilise CRM, marketing automation, spreadsheet and enrichment tools to manage, validate and analyse data at scale. •    Monitor data imports, exports, integrations and routine workflow monitoring, resolving issues where appropriate. •    Maintain visibility of personal workload, task status, blockers and completion progress. •    Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate manual processes and enhance data quality practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration •    Partner with Demand Generation, Campaign Operations, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations and regional marketing teams to understand audience requirements and data quality objectives. •    Communicate proactively on audience requirements, delivery timelines, data issues and potential risks, helping to build confidence in CRM data and processes.

Required Experience •    2-4 years’ experience in Marketing Operations, CRM data management, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, data enrichment, or a similar data-focused B2B role. •    Experience with data hygiene tasks, including normalisation, deduplication, field completion, bounce cleanup and stale data identification. •    Hands-on experience with at least one data enrichment, sales intelligence or prospecting platform, such as ZoomInfo, Cognism, Apollo or equivalent. •    Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus. •    Working knowledge of CRM data structures such as leads, contacts and picklists. •    Experience working with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM and marketing platforms. •    Strong understanding of B2B account and contact data including firmographics. •    Knowledge of data privacy and suppression concepts such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM. •    Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables and data validation. •    Basic SQL knowledge for querying data is advantageous. •    Experience working with global B2B software, SaaS, real estate software or proptech data is preferred.
