What you’ll do:

• Work as part of Terra's Product Design team to design and deliver exceptional user experiences across our AI-powered security platform.
• Contribute to the end-to-end design process for new product features, from discovery and research through implementation and iteration.
• Design intuitive user experiences for complex cybersecurity and AI workflows, making advanced security capabilities simple and accessible.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Security Researchers to turn technical challenges into user-centered solutions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
• Validate designs through user research, usability testing, customer feedback, and product data. Collaborate with Engineering to ensure high-quality implementation while helping evolve Terra's design system.
• Use modern AI tools throughout your design workflow to accelerate ideation, prototyping, content creation, and design quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer building B2B products.
• Proven experience designing complex products from concept to launch.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating outstanding UX thinking, interaction design, visual design, and end-to-end product ownership.
• Expert-level proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Experience building and maintaining design system components: defining variants, states, and tokens, and refactoring existing components without breaking what depends on them. You think about a component the way an engineer thinks about an API.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools as an integral part of your daily product design workflow.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
• Strong systems thinking, problem-solving skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
• Self-driven, highly collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passion for making high-density, expert-level interfaces feel clear and fast.

Strong advantage:

• Experience designing products for technical users, developers, cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, or cybersecurity products. Our domain is dense, from findings and severity to CVSS, attack surface, and remediation flows, and prior exposure shortens ramp-up considerably.
• Experience designing AI or agentic products: representing uncertainty, provenance, and confidence, and building human-in-the-loop gates people actually trust.
• Comfortable working in code. Functional prototypes in React and Tailwind, reading the frontend codebase, working with Figma Code Connect, or contributing design system work directly.
