We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our Project Management team and support the execution of complex, high-budget projects in the air defense sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Industrial Engineering & Management graduate to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, work alongside experienced Project Managers, and take part in large-scale defense projects from initiation through delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects throughout their full life cycle.
- Assist in tracking project schedules, milestones, budgets, deliverables, risks, and action items.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Support the integration of business, administrative, financial, and technical aspects of the projects.
- Monitor project progress and assist in preparing status reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Follow up on tasks and interfaces across different teams to ensure alignment with project plans and objectives.
- Assist in identifying project risks, issues, and gaps and support the implementation of appropriate solutions.
- Participate in customer and supplier meetings and support ongoing project communication.
- Work closely with experienced Project Managers and gain exposure to complex multidisciplinary defense projects.
- Travel within Israel as required for meetings with customers and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management – required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks and interfaces simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of responsibility, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment.
- Strong service orientation and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Good command of project management and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent English – written and verbal.
- Familiarity with software/technology environments – an advantage.
- Previous experience in project coordination, PMO, operations, or a technological environment – an advantage.
- Experience or familiarity with the defense sector – an advantage.
