OLR India is the largest OLR delivery center and a core pillar of OLR’s global operations. Based in Bangalore, India recently relocated to a new office at The Hive Workspaces, Prestige Tech Platina, the India team plays a critical role in delivering Oracle Retail implementations, upgrades, and 24/7 global support across all OLR regions. Our teams work closely with teams in Europe, North America and Latin America to provide end-to-end Oracle Retail systems integration, application support, and continuous optimization for global retail operations.  

 

Our Bangalore-based professionals are deeply involved in large-scale Oracle Retail implementations, cloud migrations, system upgrades, and omnichannel transformation programs, helping global retailers scale, modernize and remain future-ready in a rapidly evolving retail landscape. 

The Role

You are an early-career QA professional with a passion for learning and an eagerness to grow within software quality assurance. You’re curious, analytical, and detail-oriented — someone who takes pride in ensuring that technology works seamlessly. You enjoy solving problems, communicating clearly, and collaborating with others in an agile environment.

In this role, you’ll

  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
  • Support test planning, design, and execution within agile sprints.
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
  • Learn and apply automation tools and frameworks under the guidance of senior QA engineers.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in software testing or automation (XML, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby).
  • Basic understanding of Agile development and Continuous Integration principles.
  • Experience with defect management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Exposure to retail systems.
  • Awareness of industry tools and concepts — e.g. Jenkins, Git/Gerrit, JMeter, Appium, Perfecto.
  • Interest in performance, security, or accessibility testing.
  • Active engagement in professional learning — webinars, meetups, or online communities.
