We are looking for an AI & Data Engineer Intern to join the ICT team in Venice (VE). The role focuses on developing AI agents to automate business processes, leveraging Python, Google Cloud Platform and enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and testing of AI agents and APIs using Python and LLM technologies.
  • Assist in integrating enterprise data sources and maintaining data pipelines on BigQuery.
  • Contribute to validating AI solutions to ensure output quality and reliability.
  • Support the implementation of monitoring tools, metrics and dashboards to track agent performance.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
  • Good knowledge of Python, REST APIs, SQL and Git.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning and LLMs.
  • Fluent Italian and good technical English.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn, problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with the team and communicate technical concepts clearly

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, Google Cloud Platform, RAG or vector databases.
  • Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD and data pipelines.
  • Personal or academic AI projects.

  • 6-month, full-time internship starting in November 2026.
