Gardens Alive!® Inc. ships millions of plants, seeds, trees, and bulbs annually and also operates a number of non-horticulture gift brands offering puzzles, games, home and outdoor décor, linens and apparel. With 10 locations across the U.S. and internationally, Gardens Alive!® Inc. employs 1000+ Full-time and seasonal employees and is currently seeking a talented [Graphic Designer] to assist in growing our presence across digital channels including e-commerce storefronts, Amazon, email marketing, social media campaigns, and more.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Create visually appealing designs for digital platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, digital advertising, and e-commerce storefronts.
· Develop original concepts, layouts, and graphics that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
· Collaborate with internal marketing teams to understand creative project scope, timelines, and priorities.
· Design intuitive and visually engaging UI elements for websites, online stores, and other interactive platforms.
· Collaborate with website managers and web development team to determine creative solutions for web campaigns and strategy.
· Maintain and evolve brand visual identity across all digital touchpoints.
· Develop and manage digital assets, templates, and style guides.
· Work closely with marketing, content, and product teams to translate ideas into compelling visuals.
· Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative solutions to business challenges.
· Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and tools in the digital landscape.
· Ensure timely delivery of projects while adhering to quality standards and deadlines.
· Present and justify design choices to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine deliverables.
· Develop mockups and prototypes for review and approval.
· Use analytics and performance metrics to refine designs and improve user engagement.
· Occasionally assist with storyboards, producing, and/or editing video projects.
This is a hybrid role consisting of a combination of work from home days and established in-office days at our Tipp City, Ohio location. This full-time role includes a competitive benefits package including Health, Vision, Dental, 401k with company match, paid time off, and more.

Qualifications/Skills:
A successful candidate for this role will be a creative problem solver who understands the marketing and business aspects of selling products online and through catalogs. This person will be a self-starter who is looking to make an immediate impact on a high output team. This position reports to the Content Marketing Director.
- Strong graphic design skills
- Mastery of design with a focus on product and lifestyle imagery
- Advanced Typography skills
- Digital and Print page layout skills
- Experience with e-commerce storefronts and rich content creation
- Experience with Social media content creation
- Familiar with lifestyle/product photography and video production processes
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud Programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, etc.
- Basic understanding of Video/Motion Graphics software such as Premier Pro and After Effects is a plus.

- Some experience with motion graphics/video editing is strongly preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or multimedia design, or an associate’s degree plus equivalent experience
- Five or more years of experience in graphic design within an inhouse or agency marketing/creative team.
