Who We Are

GPS Insight offers leading technology for organizations that have drivers and technicians in the field, fleets of vehicles, trailers, and other mobile assets. We provide innovative fleet solutions that include vehicle and asset tracking, in-cab smart cameras, field service software, and compliance management.

We know that when you invest in high-performance technology, you achieve results and maximize your return. We feel the same way about our people at GPS Insight. They are what allow us to build world-class solutions that make us leaders in the fleet and field service management space. They are what enable our customers' success. They are our greatest asset. As a result, we take pride in a workplace committed to those who make us go.

Our commitment to growth enables us to push the telematics and field service operations industries forward. It's rooted in our products, embedded in our culture, and reflected in our team-first values. We're looking for the right people to jump onboard with us. Are you ready to take the ride?

What We Need

We're looking for a Salesforce Administrator to own and optimize the platform that powers our go-to-market engine. Salesforce is our CRM and the single source of truth for our sales organization, and Salesforce CPQ drives how we configure, price, and quote our SaaS and hardware offerings. This role is central to creating a seamless, user-friendly experience for our sellers and removing friction from our order-to-cash motion, so they spend less time working around the system and more time selling. As both a hands-on problem solver and a process innovator, you'll own CPQ and product configuration, price books, and approvals while also partnering with our admin team to move from reactive ticket work to a strategic roadmap, delivering focused sprints that realize value for the business.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and has a solid foundation in Salesforce administration and CPQ. You should be confident working independently, comfortable making recommendations to leadership, and motivated by continuously improving how our systems support a high-performing revenue team. AI is central to how we work: we use tools like Claude daily to analyze, build, and document. The person in this role must be fluent in AI tools, using them daily to troubleshoot, speed up builds, document, and design safe, measurable automations. This role is open to remote candidates; our headquarters is in Scottsdale, AZ.

What You'll Do

  • Own Salesforce CPQ configuration: products, bundles, product and price rules, discount schedules, and quote templates
  • Bring a point of view on the most scalable price book model, whether native price books or a custom object approach, that creates the best seller experience and reduces ongoing admin maintenance
  • Maintain direct and partner price books, and lead product setup and pricing updates for new offerings
  • Own quote and opportunity approval processes, including thresholds that vary by product type (e.g., hardware, installation, subscriptions)
  • Identify workarounds and scalability gaps in our CPQ setup, then scope and deliver fixes that make quoting easier for Sellers and Customer Success
  • Manage CPQ orders, contracts, and renewals across the Quote → Order → Contract → Subscription lifecycle, partnering with RevOps and Finance
  • Design the go-forward profile, permission set, and permission set group model, ensuring the security and integrity of our org
  • Set the standards and documentation for day-to-day user setup and access changes
  • Build and maintain Flows (record-triggered, screen, and scheduled) and help migrate legacy workflow rules, Process Builder, and approval processes
  • Contribute to the team's org health and tech-debt reduction work, such as field deprecation, report and dashboard cleanup, and removing unused packages
  • Scope and track work in Jira and follow our sandbox-first release process, including a weekly production push
  • Build reports and dashboards, and support data imports, cleanup, and integrations (including the HubSpot–Salesforce sync) alongside the admins who own them
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Finance to turn their needs into system improvements, and train users on changes
  • Use AI tools such as Claude or similar daily to analyze configuration, draft documentation, and build and troubleshoot Flows and formulas
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and features, and bring best-practice recommendations to the team
  • Recommend and roll out new AI-powered tools and automations

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of hands-on Salesforce administration in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience, including managing orders, contracts, and renewals
  • Experience building quote approvals with Salesforce Advanced Approvals, Flow Approval Processes, or a comparable CPQ approval tool
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce security (profiles and permission sets) and Flow
  • Regular use of AI tools such as Claude or similar in your work, with the judgment to check AI output before it reaches production
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to work independently while partnering well with stakeholders across departments

Preferred Experience

  • Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or CPQ Specialist certification
  • Prior HubSpot experience, including supporting a seamless integration between HubSpot as the marketing automation platform and Salesforce as the CRM
  • Experience quoting both hardware and subscription products
  • ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite), including the handoff of orders from CRM to ERP
  • Familiarity with release and org management tools (e.g., Gearset, Metazoa) and basic Apex

What We Offer

  • Fast-paced and rapidly growing environment
  • Chance to deliver mission-critical data that drives the operations of our economy
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and board-level work
  • Opportunity for professional growth and development
  • Possibility to learn new and cutting-edge technologies, in an environment that encourages new ideas
