The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities, keep teams accountable, identify risks before they become issues, and turn ideas into completed initiatives. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and can move projects forward without needing direct authority over every team involved.

What You'll Do

Project Management

  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and implementation schedules.
  • Establish project priorities, owners, dependencies, and deadlines.
  • Monitor progress and ensure projects remain on track.
  • Identify project risks, roadblocks, and resource constraints and coordinate appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, action-item trackers, and other project-management tools.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure follow-up on decisions and action items.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate teams across Operations, Clinical, IT, HR, Finance, Revenue Cycle, Marketing, and other departments.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for assigned projects.
  • Clearly communicate expectations, deadlines, changes, and project status to stakeholders.
  • Build accountability across teams without relying on direct supervisory authority.
  • Provide real-time visibility into project progress by continuously updating stakeholders on status, milestones, and any changes as they occur.
  • Escalate significant risks, delays, and unresolved issues to leadership.

Implementation & Process Improvement

  • Lead the implementation of new processes, systems, technologies, and operational initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into actionable project requirements and implementation plans.
  • Support pilots, testing, workflow validation, and organization-wide rollouts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and standardize processes.
  • Gather feedback from end users and coordinate adjustments following implementation.
  • Support change management and ensure teams are prepared for new processes and technologies.

Reporting & Performance

  • Track project performance against established goals, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Prepare project updates and executive-level reporting.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned and best practices.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare operations, or ambulatory care.
  • Experience implementing technology, software, EHR, or workflow solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process-improvement methodologies.
