Junior DevOps Engineer

Join our team as a Junior DevOps Engineer!

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team and help build, maintain, and improve our cloud infrastructure and deployment processes

This is a hands-on and collaborative role, responsible for supporting cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD processes, IT operations, and the reliability of our development and production environments.

The role sits within Cyolo’s engineering organization and plays an important part in helping us scale our infrastructure, improve engineering efficiency, and deliver secure and reliable products to our customers.

Cyolo is a cybersecurity company that provides secure access solutions, enabling organizations to protect critical resources while giving users secure and seamless access to the systems they need.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain cloud infrastructure and services

• Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based environments

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

• Automate operational and infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency and reliability

• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, and assist with troubleshooting

• Support IT operations and collaborate with the IT team on internal systems, cloud services, access management, and infrastructure-related initiatives

• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Security, and other technical teams to support development and production environments

• Continuously learn and adopt new cloud, DevOps, and automation technologies

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies and cloud-based environments

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS

• Basic understanding of DevOps practices, infrastructure, and cloud architecture

• Strong understanding of networking and infrastructure concepts

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a technical team

• High proficiency in English (written and verbal)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

• Familiarity with Azure products and services

• Experience with scripting or automation using Bash, Python, or similar tools

• Familiarity with containers and technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform

• Experience supporting IT operations, internal systems, or access management
