This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Desenvolvedora Back-end Java Pleno based in Brazil.

This role is an opportunity to contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and high-quality backend solutions in a technology-driven environment. You will work primarily with Java and Spring Boot, building microservices and RESTful APIs that support complex business needs. The position combines software development, testing, documentation, system monitoring, and continuous technical improvement. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment while helping ensure reliable and maintainable solutions. The role also offers exposure to cloud technologies, event-driven architectures, batch processing, and modern AI tools applied to software development. Accountabilities:

• Develop backend software using Java and related technologies, following project specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards.

• Build and maintain scalable, efficient, and maintainable applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs.

• Design, implement, and maintain software integrations using appropriate integration patterns and technologies.

• Perform software testing, identify bugs and technical issues, and implement solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of deliveries.

• Document code and technical solutions to facilitate maintenance, evolution, and knowledge sharing.

• Support the development team by providing technical guidance and contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Research and adopt new technologies and approaches that can improve software performance, efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.

• Develop and monitor batch processing solutions, preferably using Spring Batch.

• Monitor applications and systems in production, identifying incidents and implementing corrective and preventive solutions.

• Contribute to agile ceremonies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using methodologies such as Scrum, XP, or Kanban.

• Apply AI tools and capabilities throughout the software development lifecycle, supporting productivity and technical innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a related field.

• Professional experience with Java, including versions 8, 11, and 21.

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of relational databases, particularly SQL Server and Sybase.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Knowledge of messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ.

• Experience developing and monitoring batch processing solutions, preferably with Spring Batch.

• Knowledge of system integration patterns and practices.

• Experience working in agile development teams using Scrum, XP, Kanban, or similar methodologies.

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applied to software development, including tools such as Devin, Cursor, or Gemini, AI API integrations, LLM concepts, and best practices for adopting AI in backend applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues and develop effective solutions.

• Clear, fast, and assertive communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining focus on quality, deadlines, and customer satisfaction.

• Programming language and/or cloud certification is desirable.
