DevOps Engineer

Velocix develops market-leading video delivery solutions used by telecommunications operators, broadcasters, and streaming providers worldwide. Our portfolio includes Content Delivery Networks (CDN), Origin platforms, Video Recording Managers, Personalization Platforms, and Analytics solutions that power large-scale video streaming services.

As part of our global Engineering organization, you will contribute to the design, automation, deployment, and operation of cloud-native platforms and infrastructure supporting mission-critical video technologies.

This role is suitable for engineers at different career stages, from early-career professionals building their cloud and automation expertise to experienced engineers leading platform architecture, operational excellence, and DevOps transformation initiatives.

What you'll do

Platform Engineering & Automation

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure platform solutions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management solutions.
• Automate deployment, provisioning, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, and security.
• Build reusable automation frameworks and operational tooling.
• Participate in platform modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.

CI/CD & DevOps enablement

• Design, implement, and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
• Support engineering teams in adopting DevOps practices and automation-first approaches.
• Improve release automation and deployment processes.
• Contribute to software delivery best practices across development teams.
• Support version control, build automation, testing, and release management processes.

Cloud & Infrastructure operations

• Manage and support infrastructure deployed across cloud and virtualized environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design resilient and highly available systems.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot platform issues.
• Support disaster recovery, scalability, and operational readiness initiatives.
• Participate in incident investigation and root-cause analysis activities.

Collaboration & Continuous improvement

• Work closely with Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Architects, Product Teams, and Operations teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery activities.
• Support technical reviews, operational reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices, depending on experience level.
