About the Role

Manao Software is seeking an experienced Freelance WordPress Developer to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve our company websites.

Key Responsibilities

1. WordPress Development & Technical Support

  • Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress errors, bugs, and functionality issues.
  • Make HTML/CSS adjustments to existing pages and modify themes, templates, layouts, and website elements.
  • Support technical improvements across our English, Thai, and Danish websites.

2. Technical SEO & Website Performance

  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues related to indexing, crawling, redirects, and website structure.
  • Implement and maintain URL redirects.
  • Improve Core Web Vitals, website speed, performance, and usability.
  • Implement other technical SEO improvements as needed.

3. Task Management & Communication

  • Provide working-hour estimates for approval before starting each task.
  • Complete approved tasks within the agreed scope and estimated hours.
  • Communicate promptly if additional time or work is required.
  • Record working hours and task progress in Jira.
  • Provide regular updates on completed tasks, outstanding issues, and technical recommendations.
  • Respond to team communications within 24 hours on business days.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in WordPress development and website maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress themes, and templates.
  • Experience troubleshooting website errors and functionality issues.
  • Understanding of technical SEO, including redirects, indexing, crawling, and website structure.
  • Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and website performance optimization.
  • Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and communicate proactively.
  • Experience with task management and time-tracking tools such as Jira.

Nice to Have

  • PHP and JavaScript for WordPress customization.
  • Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights.
  • Experience with multilingual websites.
  • GA4 and website tracking troubleshooting.

Working Arrangement

  • Flexible, remote freelance engagement.
  • Time & Materials model, with payment based on actual approved hours worked.
  • Estimated workload of 15–25 hours per month, depending on support needs.
  • Flexible working hours based on assigned tasks.
  • Prior approval required for task estimates before work begins.
  • Ongoing collaboration with the Manao Software Marketing team.
