Job DetailsJob Location: Daly City, CA 94014Salary Range: $95,981.60 - $109,616.00 SalaryAs part of the Project/Program Team, the Data Analyst, will be responsible for projects involving analysis, research, and the presentation of findings and insights to improve the health and well-being of our community. The Data Analyst also assists managers, physical leads, and directors on projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provides data analysis, report generation, validation, and interpretation for various projects by directly querying electronic health records data using SQL Works on high impact projects that optimize data availability and quality and provide reliable access to the organization Performs research by gathering data from a variety of healthcare sources, including internal and external data/research Proactively assesses progress and effectiveness of projects using appropriate data analysis methodologies Conducts feasibility analysis for proposed projects Presents analytical findings and insights to stakeholders and leadership using effective storyboarding and dynamic visuals Identifies project risks and escalates to project team in a timely manner with proactive solutions Coordinates and completes ad hoc requests for data and analysis, utilizing business, operational, and analytical skills/knowledge Effectively coordinates work and collaborates with staff across all levels of the organization, such as clinical, operations, and IT teams Owns report development for reports/dashboards Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 2+ years of relevant healthcare data analysis work experience or 5+ years data analysis work experience in other fields Experienced in SQL and other common analytic/data tools such as Power BI (2+ years) 2+ years of experience working with Epic EHR system is a plus 2+ years analytical experience working in healthcare data quality reporting is a plus 2+ years of clinical experience within a health care setting is a plus Understanding of the sources and contents of health care data with experience in reporting and/or analytic workflows for health care organizations Knowledge of standard healthcare Quality Measures and reporting, like NCQA HEDIS, CMS eCQM, PQA, P4P is a plus Able to build relationships and work with all levels of staff, including C-Suite Able to research and apply problem solving, analytical skills Strong data visualization and presentation skills Excellent communication, both verbal and written Investigative, detail oriented and thorough Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
LANGUAGE:
Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English. Fluency in other languages are an asset.
STATUS:
This is an FLSA exempt position. This is not an OSHA low-risk position. This is a Full Time position.
