Your role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us automate infrastructure and deployments, improve observability and keep our systems stable, secure and ready for peak demand. Alongside core DevOps work, you will also contribute to internal system integrations, access management and technical support for selected event solutions.

This role suits someone who enjoys removing manual work, finding the root cause of problems and creating solutions that make life easier for both engineering and operations teams in the long term.

What you will do

Automation and infrastructure

• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for development, staging and production environments.

• Automate provisioning, configuration and deployment using Infrastructure as Code and minimise manual intervention.

• Standardise environments and workflows so they are reproducible, secure and easy to scale.

Reliability, observability and incidents

• Develop monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards and alerting for critical services.

• Support incident response, perform root cause analysis and turn findings into concrete fixes and preventive improvements.

• Define and maintain SLOs and improve the availability, resilience and performance of infrastructure and applications.

Security and collaboration

• Embed security checks into CI/CD and ensure secure infrastructure configuration, secrets handling and compliance with internal standards.

• Work with engineering teams on release processes, branching strategies and DevOps best practices.

• Document technical solutions and share knowledge across technical and non-technical teams.

What we’re looking for

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, system administration or a related technical role.

• Strong Linux skills and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions or FluxCD.

• Experience automating infrastructure and configuration using Ansible and Terraform.

• Hands-on observability experience, particularly with Grafana and Prometheus, plus an understanding of logging, tracing and OpenTelemetry.

• A solid understanding of availability, networking, secure configuration and incident management principles.

• The ability to prioritise effectively when long-term improvements and urgent operational requests compete for attention.

• Clear technical documentation and communication skills with both engineers and non-technical colleagues.

• English at B2 level or above.

Technologies and tools

• Grafana, Prometheus, Mimir and OpenTelemetry.

• Ansible; Terraform or Helm depending on the solution.

• Git, Github Actions, FluxCD; Jira.

• Linux, particularly Debian and Ubuntu, GCP

• Access management and internal system integrations.
