iOS Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a iOS Developer based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve high-quality iOS applications designed for a global customer base. You will contribute to a digital travel experience where usability, performance, security, and localization are central to the product. Working closely with product, design, and engineering teams, you will help turn product ideas into intuitive mobile experiences. The position combines new feature development with continuous improvement of existing applications and architecture. You will have the opportunity to introduce modern technologies and development practices that improve engineering efficiency. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop, and deliver new features and products.

• Build scalable and modular application architectures using established iOS design patterns.

• Maintain and improve existing codebases, with a focus on continuous integration and deployment practices.

• Identify and resolve bugs while improving application performance, stability, responsiveness, and overall quality.

• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs to provide reliable and seamless application functionality.

• Work closely with design teams to implement strong UI/UX practices and create intuitive customer experiences.

• Identify and address security vulnerabilities to help maintain a secure mobile application environment.

• Evaluate and adopt relevant technologies, frameworks, and development approaches to improve efficiency and product quality.

• Stay informed about emerging mobile trends, iOS architectures, technologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• 2–6 years of overall software design and development experience, including at least 2 years of mobile application development experience.

• Hands-on experience developing iOS applications with Swift, along with a strong understanding of iOS development principles and best practices.

• Solid knowledge of iOS architectural patterns such as MVVM and MVP, with experience building modular and scalable applications.

• Experience using CocoaPods or similar dependency-management tools within iOS projects.

• Strong understanding of mobile development design patterns, including dependency injection and observer patterns.

• Experience writing clean, readable, flexible, and maintainable code.

• Practical experience with software testing strategies, including unit and snapshot testing.

• Strong attention to user interaction, usability, visual quality, and overall application experience.

• Ability to take ownership of features and products from development through delivery, while proactively addressing technical challenges.

• A genuine interest in software engineering, with a willingness to evaluate frameworks, languages, tools, and processes thoughtfully.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and contributing to a collaborative, growth-oriented engineering environment.
