Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a systems engineer for SNS, you’ll lead a cross functional team responsible for systems engineering for the Secure Network Processing line of products.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Participate or lead in defining TPMs and KPPs according to customer needs
- Participate or lead in defining and organizing System requirements from customer reqs
- Participate or lead in defining System and subsystem behaviors according to system reqs and customer needs
- Participate or lead in defining System and subsystem architecture (structural and functional) according to System behaviors
- Participate or lead in defining System architecture (RMA, Performance, RMF, and Security) according to requirements
- Participate or lead in documenting System architecture using MBSE methodology
- Participate or lead collaboration with Engineering(SIT, SW, FW, HW, Specialty) to confirm requirement verification and compliance
- Pickup, learn, remember, implement, and document new things quickly with minimal oversight to help SE/SW/FW/HW/SWIT/SIT team members and make project a success

- Understands getting a HW Payload through TRL7 Space Environmental testing
- Understand SW/FW development process and technologies
- Team Collaboration (work with various personalities to maximize effort and maintain/lift team morale)
- Experience with Xena Traffic Generation and test data generation
- Experience with Gitlab/VSCode IDE for scripting and source control
- Background in Network IP Planning and implementing
- Experience with MBSE and Magicdraw
