Full description

Location: Louisville, CO (hybrid – 4 days/week in office) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 annually, depending on experience

Great design does more than look good. It tells a story, creates a feeling, and helps people see themselves in what comes next.

At Fjällräven, our mission is to inspire the world to walk with nature. As our Marketing Graphic Designer, you’ll help bring that mission to life across the places our customers discover and experience the brand from social media and ecommerce to email, campaigns, retail environments, and beyond.

This is a role for a versatile designer who enjoys both thoughtful craft and hands-on creation. You might be translating a seasonal campaign into a polished digital experience one day, then capturing a quick piece of social-first photo or video content the next. Working closely with our Associate Creative Director, Marketing team, and creative partners, you’ll help turn ideas into visual stories that feel unmistakably Fjällräven: functional, authentic, considered, and built to last.

Come walk with us.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As our Graphic Designer, you’ll partner with Creative, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and other teams to build connected brand experiences across channels.

Design & Visual Storytelling

  • Conceptualize and create digital design across social media, email, ecommerce, performance marketing, and other customer touchpoints
  • Translate larger brand and seasonal campaign concepts into thoughtful, channel-specific creative
  • Develop commercial stories and visual ideas that balance brand expression with business objectives
  • Create seasonal and campaign materials for retail marketing, merchandising, window displays, and digital signage
  • Maintain a consistent Fjällräven visual identity while adapting creative thoughtfully for different platforms and audiences
  • Turn creative ideas into clear, polished, and executable design concepts

Content Creation

  • Create social-first content designed for how audiences discover and engage with brands today
  • Capture and produce photography, short-form video, behind-the-scenes moments, and other agile digital content when needed
  • Develop motion graphics, animation, video, and other rich-media assets that bring campaigns and stories to life
  • Create lo-fi and platform-native content that feels authentic and timely while staying true to Fjällräven’s long-term brand perspective
  • Stay curious about visual culture, digital storytelling, creator formats, and platform best practices, bringing forward relevant ideas without chasing trends for trend’s sake

Collaboration

  • Work closely with designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers, creators, marketers, and agency partners to bring ideas to life
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team on seasonal and in-store creative
  • Partner with creative leads and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure content meets both creative objectives and channel requirements
  • Contribute ideas, perspective, and craft throughout the creative process, from early concepts through final production

WHAT YOU BRING

You’re a thoughtful, hands-on creative who can move comfortably between polished design and nimble content creation. You care about the details, but you also know when an idea needs to get out into the world. You’re curious about how people engage with content across different channels and enjoy working collaboratively to turn a strong concept into something tangible.

You bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic, visual, or digital design, ideally within an in-house creative team or agency environment
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital design work and cross-channel creative
  • Strong digital content creation and asset-production skills
  • Experience developing creative for multiple channels such as social, ecommerce, email, digital advertising, or retail
  • The ability to translate ideas and campaign concepts into compelling visual executions
  • Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or comparable design platforms
  • Knowledge of current digital design practices and user-centered design principles
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Professional fluency in English
  • A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Interactive Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred (but not required)

  • Experience with photography, short-form video, or social-first content creation
  • Experience with photo and video editing software
  • Motion design or animation capabilities
  • Experience working with an outdoor, lifestyle, apparel, consumer, or purpose-driven brand
