Full description

Sweep is hiring a Web Product Manager to own sweep.net and turn it into one of our strongest channels for acquisition, conversion, and storytelling.

Sweep maps climate and ESG data across an entire business to reduce carbon emissions, improve social and environmental performance, and create audit-ready reports to run the best sustainability programs. Sweep empowers companies to build resilience to global challenges with technology.

Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?

The web is where a growing share of our audience first meets Sweep. We want a single owner for that experience: someone who sets the strategy, holds the roadmap, and is accountable for how the site performs. You will bring central ownership to sweep.net and lead close collaboration across content marketing, design, product marketing, and our agency partners.

As our first web product manager, you will shape the strategy and the roadmap from the ground up. You will make data-informed calls on what to build, and you will run the site like a product: owning its performance across traffic and conversion, and owning its tech stack.

We are looking for a strategic builder who gets excited about scaling performance, shipping better customer experiences, and leading teams across design, development, and marketing. You are comfortable setting strategy without an existing playbook, and you can turn Sweep's goals into a clear, prioritized web roadmap.

To be more specific, this includes:

1. Own the website as a product 🌐

Be the single person accountable for sweep.net.

  • Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for how the site performs against its goals
  • Prioritize the roadmap by growth impact, not by request volume
  • Lead close collaboration across marketing, design, product, and agencies around one plan

2. Drive traffic and conversion 📈

Grow the numbers that matter, and know why they moved.

  • Own conversion rate optimization across acquisition and conversion, from first visit to qualified pipeline
  • Find the highest-leverage opportunities and ship them with design, growth, and content

Partner with SEO and paid channel owners on on-page requirements and landing page experiments

3. Build the experimentation program 🧪

Make testing fast, rigorous, and worth it.

  • Build the web experimentation program across sweep.net
  • Raise the team's velocity and rigor over time: hypotheses, landing pages, analysis, rollout
  • Build the tooling and funnel infrastructure that makes experimentation fast and measurable
  • Build a clear ROI story for what we test, not just a backlog of A/B tests

4. Own the tech stack and performance 🧱

Keep the setup modern, measured, and fast.

  • Own the web tech stack and keep it current as web tech changes fast
  • Establish the analytics foundation: instrumentation, dashboards, and funnel reporting to make growth decisions quickly
  • Keep the site secure, compliant, and accessible across the markets we serve

5. Lead international and localization 🌍

Make the site perform in every market we sell in.

  • Own the localization strategy for the web
  • Partner with regional marketing and localization teams so the site performs in every language and market

6. Bring the teams together 🤝

Turn a shared site into one owned product.

  • Coordinate inbound web requests from marketing, sales, and other teams, prioritized by growth impact rather than request volume
  • Work across content, design, product marketing, and agencies to ship
  • Build a durable measurement story for the web and share it regularly with marketing and executive leadership: what we are testing, what we have learned, and what it is worth to the business

What success looks like in year one

  • sweep.net has a single owner and a clear roadmap tied to growth
  • Traffic and conversion are trending up, and you can show what moved them
  • The experimentation program is live: hypotheses in, learnings out, value quantified
  • The teams that touch the site know how to work with it and with you
  • Leadership has a clear, regular read on what the web is worth to the business

At Sweep, artificial intelligence is part of how we work, learn, and build. Every team member uses AI tools daily to speed up operations, improve decision making, and unlock creativity. We don’t expect you to be an expert on day one, but we do expect curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and the desire to use AI as a true partner in your work.

Whether it's analyzing information, drafting content, improving workflows, designing better employee experiences, or supporting distributed teams, you’ll use AI to work faster and smarter. We provide guidance, tools, and best practices so you can get the most out of it.

We’re looking for candidates who already have hands-on experience with AI tools in a professional setting. You should be comfortable using AI to support your daily work, enhance productivity, and create new solutions. If you naturally reach for AI to amplify what you do, you’ll feel right at home here.

That sounds just right for me. What do I need to bring?

Glad you asked. This is who we’re looking for:

Qualifications 🏆

  • +5 years experience owning or managing high-traffic, revenue-driving websites, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • A track record of driving measurable business results through the web in competitive, fast-moving markets
  • Deep expertise in CRO, SEO, and web experimentation, with a clear ROI story rather than a backlog of tests
  • Strong technical understanding of modern web stacks and the tools around them: CMS platforms like HubSpot, analytics like Google Analytics, behavior tools like Hotjar, and CRM like Salesforce. Enough to set direction and hold your own in a technical conversation, without needing to be a developer
  • Strong quantitative instincts and fluency with analytics tools, funnel modeling, and experimentation design
  • Real AI fluency: you use AI daily in your own work, and you keep up with how fast web tech is moving so our setup stays ahead
  • A real interest in how AI is changing the way people discover, evaluate, and buy technology, and a point of view on what that means for the web
  • Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable presenting strategy and results to executive audiences

Qualities 🧠

  • You treat the website as a product, not a project. You own outcomes, not tickets
  • You have a clear point of view on what makes the web a category-defining channel for a technology company
  • You prioritize by impact. You work the highest-leverage opportunity, not the loudest request
  • You operate at the seam between marketing, design, content, and product, and you can influence without owning
  • You can walk into a room of competing stakeholders and leave it aligned on what is shipping and why
  • You treat design craft, brand, and growth performance as compatible, not opposing
  • You are genuinely AI-fluent. Using AI to work faster and sharper is second nature
  • You are a self-starter who thrives without an existing playbook

The plus

  • Working knowledge of privacy, compliance, and accessibility standards for global websites
  • Experience shipping and optimizing localized web experiences across international markets
  • A history of partnering closely with in-house brand and design teams
  • Experience in sustainability, ESG, or climate tech
  • Fluency in one or more European languages beyond English: German, French, Spanish, or others

Copy that. And what’s in it for me?
