POSITION SUMMARY

As a key member of the Purchasing Team, the Supply Chain Business Analyst will support key supply chain activities for the company. This position will be in charge of developing and maintaining the supply chain visibility and tools for the management teams across the NFI Group. A key responsibility in this role would following supplier capacity and creating forecasts for long lead time parts.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Drive the NFI Group Supply Chain to achieving effective key performance indicators (KPI), process improvements.
  • Serve as an integral resource for Purchasing and Supply leadership.
  • Develop complex Power BI and Excel tools to streamline day-to-day operations and improve visibility across the supply chain team. As well as providing comprehensive past and future part demand reports to key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain a Purchasing and Supply dashboard to track department health and measure real-time performance against strategic targets
  • Conduct root-cause analysis into missed targets and provide actionable insights to leadership teams.
  • Provided accurate, timely forecast data to long-lead-time suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Conduct analysis on Master Schedule changes to summarize and communicate critical impacts to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development, communication and deployment of departmental policies, guidelines, and tools.
  • Assist in identifying key opportunities for process enhancements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years in an analyst role with strong process systems experience
  • Very strong understanding and knowledge of Supply chain, especially Purchasing, Planning  and Inventory management
  • Demonstrated aptitude for identifying, evaluating, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with ability to generate workable solutions in a timely manner
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Prior working knowledge of an ERP data management system considered an asset (Oracle, SQL, Power BI).
  • Project management experience would be considered an asset
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work within a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
