This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect, AI and Agentforce based in Canada.
This is a remote technical architecture role focused on building innovative Salesforce solutions powered by AI and intelligent agents. You’ll design and deliver Agentforce experiences that translate complex business needs into scalable, high-impact technical solutions. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from discovery and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and optimization. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, project managers, architects, developers, and UX specialists to shape effective solutions. A key focus will be exploring the capabilities of Agentforce, generative AI, automation, and Salesforce data at scale. You’ll also contribute to reusable assets and technical best practices that improve delivery quality and consistency across projects. Accountabilities
• Own the technical architecture and solution design for Salesforce projects centered on Agentforce and related AI technologies.
• Translate client business requirements into scalable, secure, and well-architected technical solutions.
• Design agentic solutions, including topics, instructions, actions, automation, code, deployment approaches, and supporting data structures.
• Explore the capabilities and limitations of Agentforce and identify innovative approaches that can generate measurable business value.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, solution architects, developers, and UX designers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee and contribute to technical activities from initial discovery and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and delivery.
• Establish effective approaches for ingesting and managing Salesforce data at scale to support agentic applications.
• Stay current with Salesforce product releases, Agentforce capabilities, generative AI developments, and technologies such as Anthropic Claude.
• Develop and promote technical best practices for Salesforce development, AI implementation, data management, and solution architecture.
• Contribute reusable technical assets, frameworks, and patterns that improve delivery speed, quality, and consistency.
• Participate in client discovery sessions and technical design discussions, guiding stakeholders toward appropriate solution options.
• Support the broader technical team by sharing expertise, evaluating emerging technologies, and helping solve complex implementation challenges.
Requirements
• 6+ years of professional experience in application or software development.
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Apex and JavaScript, with exposure to modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce technologies including Flows, Lightning Web Components, and/or Visualforce.
• Solid understanding of front-end web development concepts, including HTML and CSS.
• Experience working with source control, branching strategies, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD solutions, DevOps principles, and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical discovery sessions and solution-design conversations independently.
• Experience serving as a lead developer or architect on Salesforce projects is highly relevant.
• Hands-on experience with Agentforce, agentic AI systems, generative AI, prompt engineering, or AI-enabled applications is strongly valued.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Data 360 and Agentforce configuration and development is an asset.
• Additional Salesforce certifications are a plus, particularly Platform Developer II or Agentforce Specialist certifications.
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of technical decisions and delivering solutions in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel when required, with certain roles involving travel of up to approximately 25%.
