Über die Rolle
In dieser Senior-Position übernehmen Sie die unternehmerische Verantwortung für die Entwicklung Großbatteriespeicherprojekte von der Standortidentifikation bis zur Baureife. Sie steuern interne und externe Fachdisziplinen, vertreten Noveria gegenüber zentralen Stakeholdern und gestalten zugleich kommerzielle Partnerschaften sowie Projekttransaktionen.
- Eigenverantwortliche Leitung der Entwicklung von Batteriespeicherstandorten über den gesamten Entwicklungszyklus – von Standortprüfung, Flächensicherung und Netzanschluss über Genehmigung und Planung bis zur Baureife.
- Repräsentation von Noveria als zentrale Ansprechperson gegenüber Kommunen, Genehmigungsbehörden, Grundstückseigentümern und Netzbetreibern; Aufbau langfristiger, belastbarer Beziehungen.
- Steuerung von Netzanschlussanfragen, Grundstücksverhandlungen, kommunaler Abstimmung sowie bau- und immissionsschutzrechtlichen Genehmigungsverfahren.
- Führung und Koordination externer Planungsbüros, technischer Berater, Rechtsanwälte, Gutachter und weiterer Projektpartner; Sicherstellung von Qualität, Budget und Terminplan.
- Bewertung von Projektchancen, Entwicklungsrisiken und kommerziellen Rahmenbedingungen sowie Erstellung fundierter Entscheidungsvorlagen für die Geschäftsführung und Investitionsgremien.
- Verhandlung von Joint-Venture-Partnerschaften, Projektakquisitionen und zugehörigen kommerziellen Vereinbarungen auf Basis der bestehenden Noveria-Vertrags- und Transaktionsvorlagen in enger Abstimmung mit internen und externen Rechtsberatern.
- Durchführung und Koordination kommerzieller, technischer und rechtlicher Due-Diligence-Prüfungen für neue Projekte und Partnerschaften.
- Weiterentwicklung digitaler Prozesse, Projektsteuerungsinstrumente und Datenräume; täglicher, verantwortungsvoller Einsatz von KI zur Beschleunigung von Analysen, Dokumentation, Kommunikation und Entscheidungsprozessen.
- Aktiver Beitrag zum Aufbau des Projektentwicklungsteams, zur Standardisierung von Prozessen und zum Wissensaustausch innerhalb von Noveria und Bluestar.
Es handelt sich um eine unbefristete Vollzeitstelle in einem wachsenden, international eingebundenen Unternehmen. Die Position ist hybrid und dem Freiburger Büro zugeordnet; regelmäßige Präsenz vor Ort sowie Reisebereitschaft zu Projektstandorten und externen Terminen in Deutschland werden erwartet. Über Sie
Sie verfügen über mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung komplexer Infrastruktur-, Energie- oder Immobilienprojekte und können Projekte ebenso sicher nach außen vertreten wie intern strukturiert vorantreiben. Sie verbinden Stakeholder-Management und Umsetzungskompetenz mit kaufmännischem Urteilsvermögen.
- Nachweisbare Erfahrung in Projektentwicklung, Genehmigung, Flächensicherung oder Netzanschluss; Erfahrung mit Batteriespeichern oder erneuerbaren Energien ist von Vorteil.
- Sicheres Auftreten und ausgeprägte Verhandlungsfähigkeit im Umgang mit Kommunen, Grundstückseigentümern, Netzbetreibern, Projektpartnern und professionellen Beratern.
- Kaufmännische Erfahrung und Verständnis für Projektbewertung, Vertragsstrukturen, Joint Ventures, Akquisitionen und Due Diligence.
- Strukturierte, eigenständige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise mit der Fähigkeit, mehrere Projekte und externe Arbeitsströme parallel zu führen.
- Digital Native mit hoher IT-Affinität; routinierter Umgang mit digitalen Kollaborations-, Daten- und Projektmanagement-Tools sowie tägliche Nutzung von KI-Anwendungen im eigenen Workflow.

Noveria Energie GmbH is developing a portfolio of large-scale battery energy storage (BESS) facilities in Germany, facilities which we are convinced are essential to advancing the energy transition. About the Role
In this senior role, you will take ownership of the development of utility-scale battery storage projects from site identification through to construction readiness. You will lead internal and external workstreams, represent Noveria with key stakeholders, and help shape commercial partnerships and project transactions.
- Lead the end-to-end development of battery storage sites, from site assessment, land securing and grid connection through permitting, design coordination and construction readiness.
- Act as the face of Noveria with municipalities, permitting authorities, landowners and grid operators, building trusted and durable relationships.
- Lead grid connection applications, land negotiations, municipal engagement and planning and environmental permitting processes.
- Appoint, brief and manage external planning offices, technical advisers, lawyers, consultants and other project partners, ensuring quality, budget and programme are maintained.
- Assess project opportunities, development risks and commercial terms, and prepare clear recommendations for management and investment committees.
- Negotiate joint venture partnerships, project acquisitions and related commercial agreements using Noveria’s established transaction templates, in close coordination with internal and external legal advisers.
- Lead and coordinate commercial, technical and legal due diligence for new projects and partnerships.
- Improve digital processes, project controls and data rooms, using AI responsibly every day to accelerate analysis, documentation, communication and decision-making.
- Contribute to building the project development team, standardising processes and sharing knowledge across Noveria and Bluestar.
This is a permanent, full-time position in a growing, internationally connected business. The role is hybrid and based from the Freiburg office, with regular office attendance and travel to project sites and external meetings across Germany. About You
You bring several years of experience developing complex infrastructure, energy or real estate projects and are equally comfortable representing a project externally and driving it forward internally. You combine stakeholder leadership and delivery discipline with sound commercial judgement.
- A completed degree, ideally in engineering, spatial planning, geography, real estate, commercial law, business or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in project development, permitting, land acquisition or grid connection; battery storage or renewable energy experience is an advantage.
- Confident communication and strong negotiation skills with municipalities, landowners, grid operators, project partners and professional advisers.
- Commercial experience and an understanding of project valuation, contractual structures, joint ventures, acquisitions and due diligence.
- A structured, independent and solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to lead several projects and external workstreams in parallel.
- A digital native with strong IT affinity, fluent in collaboration, data and project-management tools, and using AI applications daily as part of your workflow.
- Professional fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
