Job Description:
SFCC Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Role
The SFCC Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) applications across the entire customer journey. The individual will lead end-to-end testing activities, validate integrations, support business-critical releases, and act as the QA lead for SFCC initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end QA activities for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) projects and releases.
- Validate SFCC storefront, checkout, payment, order management, fulfillment, and post-purchase journeys.
- Perform testing of SFCC Business Manager configurations including catalogs, promotions, campaigns, price books, inventory, and customer groups.
- Create and execute Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Strategy documents.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, UAT, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
- Validate integrations between SFCC and OMS, Payment Gateways, Tax Engines, Shipping Providers, and third-party systems.
- Conduct Cross-browser, Cross-device, Responsive, Accessibility (WCAG), Localization, and Internationalization testing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, story reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage defects through logging, triaging, tracking, root cause analysis, and closure.
- Lead QA sign-off discussions and release readiness assessments.
- Support UAT, Production Validation, Hypercare, and Post-Release Monitoring activities.
- Coordinate testing efforts across business, product, development, and external stakeholder teams.
- Review test execution reports, release documentation, and quality metrics.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and regression suite optimization.
Must Have
- 7+ years of Quality Assurance experience with at least 3-5 years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) testing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA).
- Deep understanding of SFCC Business Manager (BM) administration and configurations.
- Experience testing complex B2C eCommerce applications.

- Experience validating storefront, checkout, and post-purchase customer experiences.
- Strong knowledge of B2C Commerce architecture and system integrations.

- Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, UAT, and Smoke Testing.
- Cross-browser and Cross-device Testing expertise.
- Responsive Web Testing experience across Desktop, Mobile, and Tablet devices.
- Accessibility (WCAG) Testing experience.
- Localization and Internationalization Testing experience.
- Experience with Test Planning, Risk Assessment, Defect Management, and Quality Reporting.
- Agile/Scrum project experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Good to Have
- Experience with Headless Commerce and Composable Commerce architecture.
- Experience testing Mobile Applications (iOS and Android).
- API Testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
- Exposure to Selenium, Katalon, Playwright, or other automation frameworks.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and web tracking validation.
- Experience testing multi-site, multi-language, and multi-currency implementations.
- Knowledge of Loyalty, Marketplace, and Subscription Commerce models.
- Exposure to Cloud Platforms and Release Management processes.
- Experience establishing reusable regression suites and automation strategies.
- Prior experience leading enterprise-scale eCommerce releases and mentoring QA teams.
