What you do
- Support ERP System across finance workstreams such as Data Sourcing, Accounting Hub, Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Staff Expenses, Account Reconciliation by documenting requirements, clarifying business needs, and following through on assigned action items.
- Assist in project delivery activities, including requirements gathering, fit-gap documentation, solution walkthroughs, testing preparation, change impact assessment, user readiness activities, go-live support, and post-implementation follow-up.
- Analyse current-state processes, user issues, operational pain points, and basic control gaps, and propose practical improvement ideas for review by stakeholders.
- Provide input on process flows, data requirements, system behaviour, exception handling, controls, and user adoption considerations.
- Contribute to solution playbacks, design walkthroughs, testing cycles, and business sign-off activities by reviewing assigned configurations, reports, workflows, interfaces, and process changes against agreed requirements.
- Coordinate with IT teams, implementation partners, Finance Operations, HR Division, Tax, and other business stakeholders to gather information, track issues, support change request analysis, and help ensure deliverables are aligned with business needs and group standards.
- Support testing activities including Oracle Quarterly updates for assigned scope, including preparing test scenarios and test scripts, executing UAT, logging and tracking defects, retesting, preparing evidence for business review and sign-off.
- Assist in production support by investigating functional issues with business and technology teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to use Oracle Fusion capabilities, automation, reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve user experience, data quality, process efficiency, and control effectiveness.
Who you are
- Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Business, or an equivalent discipline.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in finance operations, ERP systems, business analysis, or business process change.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret information, investigate issues, document findings, and recommend practical next steps.
- Good understanding of finance processes, controls, and operational risk considerations.
- Proactive, meticulous, and able to work independently while managing competing priorities.
- Dynamic and resilient, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with business users, IT teams, implementation partners, and senior team members.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with interest in automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and process optimisation.
