Responsibilities / Tasks

As Spare Parts Sales Engineer, you are the trusted partner for GEA’s customers in your region. You ensure that they receive the right spare parts and technical solutions to keep their production lines running optimally.

Your responsibilities:

  • Your role combines technical insight with commercial skills: You’ll apply your knowledge of drawings, bills of materials, and documentation to translate this information into clear quotes, accurate delivery times, and reliable follow-up.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes for spare parts from start to finish—with a keen eye for timing, pricing, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain close contact with customers, our service staff, and both internal and external suppliers.
  • Pursue opportunities, not spreadsheets: faster delivery times, smarter processes, and more satisfied customers.
  • Bring structure to the daily workflow and share your insights with the team.
  • Support colleagues in resolving complex or urgent customer inquiries.
  • Help shape a modern, digital way of working within GEA.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Your Profile:

  • You have completed a bachelor’s degree in a technical ( mechanical specialization ) or business field (or have equivalent experience).
  • You are fluent in Dutch /English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • You are proficient in SAP, Excel, and Outlook.
  • You are curious, service-oriented, and resilient.
  • You’re not a storm that sweeps everything away, but a fresh sea breeze that brings new energy.
