Senior Financial Analyst – Full Time

Mullinax Ford is seeking a personable, hard-working, and self-motivated team member to join our multi-store enterprise. The ideal candidate can effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment where business needs frequently shift and no two days look the same. Success in this role requires adaptability, resilience, and the ability to balance long-term projects with urgent requests while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required.

Roles And Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Business Partnership

  • Prepare and analyze financial reporting, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Partner with operational leaders to understand business performance, support decision-making, and drive accountability.
  • Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-financial audiences.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and investigate emerging trends to answer critical business questions.

Strategic Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial oversight and analytical support for assigned business areas, initiatives, and special projects.
  • Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and automation solutions to improve visibility and streamline processes.
  • Leverage data analytics and technology to simplify workflows and improve decision-making.

Leadership & Execution

  • Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-changing environment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for financial reporting, analysis, and business performance.
  • Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.

What are we looking for?

  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Management preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, process automation, and supporting cross-functional business operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a proactive, flexible approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Franchise retail automotive dealership experience (Desired)
  • Working knowledge of CDK DMS Software & Microsoft Office applications (Desired)
