Job Description:
FormFactor is seeking a highly motivated HRIS Systems Analyst to support the administration, governance, compliance, and ongoing enhancement of our Workday platform. This role will partner with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Finance, Internal Audit, and IT teams to ensure Workday operates efficiently, securely, and in compliance with company policies.
The ideal candidate combines strong Workday system administration skills with operational execution, reporting, security governance, and project coordination capabilities. This individual will help drive continuous improvement of Workday business processes, security administration, reporting, audit readiness, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support & Processing
- Provide day-to-day administration and support of the Workday platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday production issues, user questions, and data discrepancies.
- Support workforce lifecycle transactions including hires, transfers, terminations, reorganizations, compensation, benefits, and security-related activities.
- Monitor Workday business processes and ensure transactions are completed accurately and timely.
- Partner with HR Operations and business stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
Workday System Administration
- Configure and maintain Workday security roles, security groups, business processes, organizations, and configuration updates.
- Support Workday releases by evaluating impacts, testing enhancements, and coordinating deployment activities.
- Assist with tenant management, system documentation, and configuration governance.
- Support Workday reporting, analytics, and data delivery needs across functional areas, including writing reports, dashboards, calculated fields, extracts, and ad hoc data requests.
- Support system integrations and data validation activities as needed.
Security Governance & Compliance
- Support Workday security administration and access governance activities.
- Perform regular access reviews and security audits.
- Assist with segregation-of-duties reviews and high-risk access monitoring.
- Maintain security documentation, role inventories, and governance artifacts.
- Partner with Internal Audit, Compliance, and IT Security teams to address findings and remediation efforts.
SOX Controls & Reporting
- Execute recurring SOX control activities related to Workday security and system administration.
- Perform periodic reviews of security changes, role assignments, and approval validation.
- Support quarterly and annual audit requests.
Project & Continuous Improvement Support
- Participate in Workday enhancement projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with requirements gathering, testing, documentation, training, and deployment activities.
- Track project tasks, risks, action items, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and implementation partners on Workday initiatives.
- Identify automation opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications & Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of Workday administration experience supporting one or more Workday functional areas.
- Experience supporting Workday security, business processes, reporting, or HCM administration.
- Experience creating and maintaining Workday reports and calculated fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience documenting processes, procedures, and controls.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Workday certifications (HCM, Security, Reporting, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, or related areas).
- Experience with Workday security administration and governance.
- Experience supporting audits and compliance reviews.
- Experience with ServiceNow or ITSM ticketing platforms.
- Experience with Workday integrations, EIBs, or data loads.
- Knowledge of HR, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, or Talent business processes.
- Basic project management experience.
