Job Purpose:  

This role is responsible for maintaining Workday HCM systems and other modules and providing specialized technical expertise to contribute towards creating an exceptional colleague experience.  This role collaborates with global internal customers, peers and various stakeholders to discuss user requirements, problem solve, design, assess available technologies, and develop/ package/ present/ test/ implement solutions. The role will require assisting users with training as well as researching and resolving complex global mailbox requests and actively providing solutions. 

As a Sr HR System Support Analyst, you will directly contribute to creating an exceptional employee experience, collaborating with teams across the organization to continuously identify, design and execute key digital initiatives that transform how our colleagues work and engage in our tools and enhance the overall colleague experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and customer service.
  • Ability to learn and navigate new systems quickly with a passion for working with systems, data and people.
  • Build solid effective working relationships as part of a team and interact with all levels of management.
  • Use relevant computer system applications at an advanced level.
  • Triage and resolve or escalate global “tickets” timely and effectively.
  • Provides technical consulting support for HRIS projects or region/ global system needs & issues. 
  • Apply Agile and Design Thinking concepts to come up with and execute solutions to promote continuously improving the employee experience.
  • Able to discuss and advise on various solution options to configure Workday to support the global HCM needs 
  • Focus on every possibility to automate and improve efficiency for the complex HR and security needs globally across various businesses
  • Develops business relationships and integrates activities with other departments to ensure successful results 
  • Researches internal and external global HCM system questions and problems as related to business processes and data. 
  • Assist in planning, support, communications, and change management, as a result of Workday or other system upgrades and changes.  
  • Develops requirements for new business process configuration and/or feasibility of implementing existing Workday functionality not currently being used. 
  • Assists IT in integration problem resolution/ testing.  
  • Completes data fixes, mass updates and data analysis. 
  • Influence/ Configure Workday HCM to achieve best manager and colleague experience 
  • Perform other Workday functional activities such as building calculated fields, report configuration, EIBs and system audits
  • Serve as an advisor to solve design challenges by identifying effective workarounds for best end users experience
  • Develops advanced level custom reports to extract data from systems, including providing breakouts in excel formatting, pivot tables, or graphs.
  • Develop and/or configure custom notifications, help text, custom fields, etc. 
  • Assesses process/ practices for efficiency and implement recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of solutions that scale and streamline data collection globally. 
  • Complete reviews with stakeholders to ensure agreement on system data principles. Standardize data parameters, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Devise flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs. 
  • Facilitate workshops to gather user experience feedback to drive the development of user stories, which will influence the business / technology requirements, and eventually lead to supporting the technology testing and user adoption efforts

  • Experience working in an Agile environment

  • Intermediate Excel
  • 5 or more years Workday experience
  • Proficient in 3 or more additional Workday modules (Learning, Recruiting, Advanced Comp, Talent, etc.) with Global experience.
